In recent months after a reorganisation and amalgamation of two surgeries at the Belmont Health Centre, I have found that the patient experience has significantly improved and waiting times on the telephone for queries or appointments is very quick. All the staff are efficient and deal promptly with requests. The surgery also is not inundated with people whenever I have gone in for an appointment. As a patient I am very pleased with the final outcome that I have noticed when calling or visiting the surgery. The staff are efficient and helpful.

I want to give a thank you to everyone at this organisation, especially Rosie Ginger! I have been very ill for more than 2 years now, I've been seen by specialists and different Dr, and no one has made me feel as good as she did. Rosie has made me feel like a person and has taken the time to consult me and think about different treatments and exams I should be doing. I have struggled a lot with breathing in the past, and none of the specialists has taken the time to even give me treatment. After seeing me for a 1st time, Rosie Ginger has given me a new inhaler treatment that allows me to breathe a lot better, and she has also done all the blood tests and exams that can help me understand what my health issues are and how to better treat them. I still have a long road ahead, both in exams and in treatments, but with Miss Ginger, I feel like I am in good hands and everything will be eventually solved. She is not only an amazing health professional but also an amazing person. Thank you very much for everything.

If I had more stars, I would definitely rate it way higher!
I needed a very urgent referral to a specialist and my insurance was being very fussy with the wording on the referral letter, which had to be changed 3 or 4 times. This happened the week before Christmas and over the weekend. The team at Belmont Health Center responded unbelievably quickly to all my emails and calls, with little to no waiting time. I have always been treated with kindness and empathy and everyone was honest with me and genuinely tried to find the best and quickest solution. I never felt I was given an answer just to get rid of me.

My thank you goes in particular to Kajal Shah, Medical Secretary. She responded to my emails unbelievably quickly and always gave me what I asked for. I am not 100% sure but I wouldn't be surprised if she worked out of working hours to get that done for me, as she was replying to me very early in the morning or late on a Friday evening. Although I literally bombarded Kajal with many emails, she has always been super patient, kind and professional in her replies.

For me the most important aspect of a good service is not only the outcome, i.e. getting what you need, but also the confidence that someone is definitely there for you, that someone is always going to answer, that someone must be taking care of your case and you are not left on your own.

My 5 star rating is for Miss Paula who has been very helpful in all my queries and appointments. She really does listen to the patients and tries to accommodate everyone’s needs. I have been very stressed and anxious when dealing with doctors appointments like most people but Paula is very professional and knows how to make the process much smoother. Rude staff, impossible to get appointments. I have literally been inside and phoned them and watched them purposely avoid calls and continue conversing with colleagues.
One of their doctors was involved in a major scandal recently and made it to the news. How they are still operating is confusing

I called in regards to my dad’s eye test appointment. Which we had a call from the Doctor who advised for an urgent referral and to get the report from the optometrist. When I called using extension 3 the lady asked me the reason for the call and while I was explaining, cut me off to ask for his DOB. When I then tried to explain that I have been chasing this up for the 3rd time, she adviced the hospital don’t tell them anything unless they log into the system. I found this strange since the referral came from the GP and I know they send notification of appointments. Then a letter is then posted out to the patient. I myself am I health professional and I know how the system work and found it shocking that when I have been chasing the matter, she slipped out the response was given on the 31st July and it’s now September. So you are telling me only when I decided to press the matter further you happened to find this information. Absolutely was rude they need to learn how to treat the patient with respect
