If I could leave zero stars, I would.
I have been at Beeches Green for almost 15 years. In this time, I have had several, very dismissive experiences with one particular doctor. I have now come to the decision that it is pointless/counterproductive for me to see this doctor and I try to avoid them.
This is causing great issues when a same day appointment is needed, more often than not, it is the doctor I do not want to see anymore that comes out and calls my name. When I try and raise the issue, I am just repeatedly told I "can't choose on a sit and wait appointment "
The staff today made errors after I tried to make absolutely sure the doc in question wasn't on the availability list.. I was reassured he wasn't.. only for them to come out and call name.
Because I chose not to be seen by him and spoke to the receptionist who assured me on the phone the list of docs available, another doc glance at the situation and dismissed me completely.
No longer able to see ANY of the doctors and told to make a proper appointment.
I am so close to moving surgeries. I feel absolutely let down by Beeches Green. They are denying me and my family same day care by not honouring the request to NOT SEE ONE PARTICULAR DOCTOR.

The doctor who saw me today could not wait to get me out of the building. I do not feel the service afforded to patients at this practice is consistent or sympathetic in the slightest. Diagnoses seem to be rushed and so poorly thought through to the extent that a quick Google diagnosis would probably be more useful.

My daughter has an established history of ill health and has previously suffered sepsis requiring critical care. She is currently suffering symptoms of infection. The GP who knows her well might prescribe antibiotics today but without him she is vulnerable to receptionists and doctors who have decided that she must wait results. She has an alert on her records.

was with this surgery since being a child and i'm so glad to have moved as soon as i was able to myself. doctors vary immensely with their capacity for patience but it seems all of them are vastly undereducated on mental health related things such as anorexia and gender dysphoria. seemingly never had the displeasure of interacting with a receptionist here but the other reviews don't surprise me.

if you do have an anxiety related disorder i highly recommend frithwood surgery if you're able to go that extra distance

Been at this surgery since i was a child now i have children of my own.
To say this surgery has gone down hill is an understatement!.I have noted that many people in the comments have singled out one receptionist in particular! (she knows who she is) my experience with her is is exactly the same as others,very rude! arrogant! Likes the sound of her own voice! & openly voices her opinion like she thinks she's the doctor!.
As for other receptionists in general they are polite & speak to you in a professional manner as you would expect from a surgery.
Overall unfortunately i would advise to go to another surgery for your health issues/needs.
Please come out of retirement Doctor salter...you are sorely missed! & probably the only one who can sort this surgery's mess out!.

The doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants are incredibly supportive and have gone absolutely beyond what I expected with my health complaints. Never have I felt like I've burdened them with what I am going through. A big thank you to Dr. Chilon, Dr. Pond, Dr. Akintoa and Nurses Funnell, Jones and Tomlins.

Doctors are brilliant and there are some good staff, however there is one receptionist who drags all this goodness down. Rude, inconsiderate and lacking tact, she readily lets you know what a bother you are to her for being ill. She’ll happily discuss your medical history openly and in front of other patients and when challenged will hang up.

This could be the best NHS option in Stroud but for that awful reception.
