My mum was moved here from an inadequate care home a couple of months ago. The care we have received from the beeches has been outstanding, any needs have been met and she has improved massively in her dementia care. The staff keep me up to date on any changes and are very honest. There is entertainment for the residents, which they all love. And she has settled in great. I recommended this care home for my mother in law, who has now moved here and is doing great! Would definitely recommend.
Thanks to all the staff involved in their care.

These are the facts, not opinion: my mum moved into The Beeches in November 22.
At the time she was physically mobile without walking aids with no history of falls.
#1 - In the first week of her residency I had to ask the staff why her room windows had been left wide open and her room was very cold, considering she suffered from COPD this was a huge oversight on their part.
#2 - In the 3 months she lived there she had 3 'Unattended falls', the last one resulting in an operation to pin her hip and ultimately her death from pneumonia and covid contracted at the hospital.
#3 - The (new) care manager called me after her last fall and admitted 'we have an issue with falls'
Given the above my opinion is this care home isn't worth more than one star.

Do not send any of your loved ones who have Alzheimer’s or dementia to this care Home Non of the staff have been trained on how to deal with them. A prison bed must be more comfortable than the beds in this care home. There is no warm feeling or a pleasant atmosphere. Stay clear, get advice first.

WARNING! ! ! I visited the care home and couldn’t believe how rude a member of staff was to me even do I work for NHS!
Extremely disappointed to see that those rude people are getting paid for supposedly caring for our loved ones.

My partner visited the home in relation to a job vacancy. A member of staff was extremely rude and unhelpful to him. I certainly would not trust this home with any of my relatives.
