This doctor’s surgery is one of the best I’ve had the privilege to attend. The staff have been incredibly patient and kind, but more importantly, they are willing to learn when things aren’t quite right. Doctors have a tough job, and we often don’t see the relentless hard work they put in day after day. What I appreciate about Bedgrove Surgery is that they work as a team and genuinely care for their patients.

The social prescriber, Anna, has been invaluable in my recovery. The nurses are amazing, and the receptionists are friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. Unfortunately, they have to operate within strict protocols—many of which are beyond their control. Like the rest of us, they have to work within the constraints of the system, but they do so with professionalism and compassion.

Dr Patel is not my doctor. But on two telephone conversations he's been absolutely brilliant.
As recent as to today he's rung me regarding a recent blood test problem arranged a blood test at Stoke Mandeville hospital for me,rang again at 7 in the evening to give me the good news.

I have waited 3 months for the GP to write a referral. They have also failed to send medication over to the pharmacy after telling me twice they would. The management of this place has hit an all time low. I have now been forced to change surgery after the staff were rude. Absolute disgrace!

I have been helped by Dr Patel a few times over the last few weeks and I couldn’t praise him enough. He is an extremely helpful, kind, considerate doctor and such a lovely person. He always goes out of his way to help and is so caring and genuine. I can’t thank him enough for all that he does, not only for myself but also for a family member.
