I highly recommend this GP for anyone seeking attentive, compassionate, and professional medical care. They take the time to truly listen, carefully consider all concerns, and provide thoughtful, patient-centered support. Of course, no place is perfect and there are times when you might have to wait a bit longer, but I believe that’s no different from other surgeries. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such clinical expertise with genuine care and empathy. An outstanding experience overall. Thank you

Very poor. Had to go through so many hoops to get an appointment for a relative in their 80s. Sent to the pharmacist to be incorrectly diagnosed first.
Called at 8am to be cut off 3 times then told 'no capacity today, try again tomorrow' or complete an online form to get a call back within 48 hours. Finally get offered an appointment almost 3 weeks later. The receptionists do their best but the whole sorry process seems designed to make it as stressful as possible to see a doctor.

I attended an appointment on friday 14th March and was told to stop taking a medication that was causing serious side effects since October 2023 and to make an appointment to see my GP to discuss a preferred medication. I emailed the GP Surgery and highlighted that the appointment was urgent and that I'd stopped taking the medication. After nearly 2 days, I contacted the GP Surgery and spoke to a receptionist who informed that I would have to fill in the e-consult form to get an appointment, I could not fill this in at the time I was speaking to her. The next morning (19/03/2025) I tried to fill in the e-consult form at 7.15am. There was no appointments available. I tried to phone the surgery and each time I pressed 2 to make an appointment the call was disconnected. Its now 7 days since I've taken this medication. I've emailed the surgery again, quoting how urgent it is to see a GP. If this surgery cannot even pick up the phone, what hope do those who really need to see a doctor got.

This surgery is by far the most poorly ran surgery I've ever encountered, with even simple tasks such as; trying to order repeatedly prescribed medications or attempts to make an appointment to speak with a GP, are made so convoluted by their incompetent receptionist team.

Rather than make you an appointment over the phone when you call, they'll defer you to their ridiculous e-consult system, where someone else can determine whether you need an appointment or not on the day!

So after going through the rigmarole of explaining your reasoning for needing an appointment via their online portal, you'll find yourself either tasked with ringing the surgery directly following an automated response from them (who then tell you on the phone to use the e-consult system again) as they never have any appointments when you call.

I don't understand why they have a receptionist team in general if they're so reliant on this ridiculous system, as whenever I attend the surgery in person, the 4 people sat in reception room don't look particularly busy & the waiting room is always empty, so why there's never any appointments available & why attempts to call the surgery take upto 15mins of being on hold is a mystery.

Honestly, if I wasn't dependent on the locality of this surgery, I'd love to move to another one, where your medical needs are actually addressed. This surgery needs to be reported to the local authority, as the "care" they offer is bordering on medical negligence.

This place is awful.
You can not get a appointment.
When you call to book one you get a letter sent your door. A warning because you tell them the online system they have & suppose to open at 7.30am every morning isn't working. They also offer a call back service. But by the time they call you back they never have any appointment left. The receptionist there are rude. But when you meet them with the same attitude they give you. You receive a written warning. Told then to piss off.

After submitting my symptoms of earache in NHS app they didn't respond in 2 working days so I called them. They said that I have to apply for online consultations in their website not in NHS app which is only available at 7:30 am. This is my 3rd GP surgery in this country and it is the worst in response wise .

This GP surgery is awful because I rang them to book an appointment on 10th February 2025 then they told me to do an online consultation for the next day. Therefore when I did my consultation I had to wait 3 weeks later for an appointment ( 5th March 2025). Also they wouldn't see me just because I came 8 minutes late and I said have u got any slots for later. Then the reception said no we are over capacity Therefore u need to do the consultation again tomorrow. This is ridiculous because then it would take another month for me to have an appointment. Also they never manage to give people an appointment on the same day or even on the same week. I wouldn't recommend this surgery to my friends/family.

Overall, a horrendous practice altogether. The doctors are unserious and have prescribed the same medication for an illness that quite clearly isn’t going away, not even listening tot he patient’s opinion whatsoever. The practice in general have such a shambolic system that leaves even those who usually frequent the GP confused. This triage system that they brought in is genuinely so bad. The receptionists don’t offer advice or help book appointments, each and every time i have tried - either for me or for my severely asthmatic mother - they tell us to call 111 and take it from there. 111 telll us to go to our GP for advice, and the GP don’t even accept us because they ‘don’t have the capacity’, so we have to go to LRI A&E to get help that a regular GP is able to but clearly doesn’t want to give
