No greeting from just a grunt and finger gestures from the bespectacled individual behind the counter. Clearly the guy neither recognised me as a local and/or disliked the cut of my jib on arrival yet to be treated in such an off hand and curt manner raised justifiable indignation in me leading to my objecting to it.
We all have rubbish jobs and roles in life, mine as a practitioner in intensive care being more than challenging and stressful. I however treat all with respect and courtesy despite any circumstances
Failing to greet someone and utilising flicks of the fingers in an authoritarian manner the polar opposite of positive & respectful communication.
I suggest this guy attends customer awareness training or packs it in for something less customer facing.
