The WORST practice going !! Email for a fit note as they recommend and DEMAND you call at 8am next day, good luck with that !! They NEVER answer the phones after 40 mins on hold I've given up! The receptionists are all rude including the girl that rolls her eyes at you whenever you speak to her. Honest advice go elsewhere woodfield medical perhaps if you can get there , it's a proper surgery!

Terrible service. Rude receptionists. I've been with this practice for years, and each time I try and use this service it gets worse. Won't even entertain you if it's past 8am. Not to mention the amount of time it takes to get through on the phone. By that point it's to late and they won't even talk to you. I understand the pressure on the nhs. But the lack of compassion from reception staff is appuling

Not good, I registered with them around 5 months ago and I didn't receive any communication from them at all. I phoned in yesterday to enquire about a 40+ health check or a new patient check to be told they don’t do them, it took an hour to get through at midday. Receptionist seemed fairly obnoxious. Seemingly you cant make appointments unless your employer is happy for you to waste each morning on the phone trying to get through for an on the day appointment, essentially rendering it a service for the unemployed or retired. A waste of time really. I registered for another GPs online at 10pm last night and had a phone call at 10am this morning inviting me for a new patient health check appointment within the week. Should it really be easier and faster to get an appointment by registering elsewhere?

Twice my baby’s appointment has been cancelled without as much as a phone call. First time I attended and the appointment was booked incorrectly and he was two days away from being allowed his jabs so I was sent away, this could have been avoided with correct training on booking of appointments and also the day list being checked at the beginning of the day and being called to rearrange. Then again, attending to be told the nurse has gone home unwell. Which is totally fine however her patients should have been notified immediately and appointment should have been rearranged. I totally understand these things can not be helped sometimes but a call takes 2 minutes and saves me a wasted journey. And to top it off, my 4 month old baby not being medicated for no reason. Twice I have given calpol for the injections, having been instructed to give it prior to the appointment and twice it’s not been needed. Just not acceptable! If you don’t have the staff to make a simple call then get a text automated system in place, one click and a message sent to cancel the appointment.

My partner had an appointment near closing time, because they couldn't be bothered they decided to call him an ambulance. The paramedic said it was a waste of time and so did we. Spent 8 hours at a&e for no other reason than the doctor wanted to go home.

Update: the last 2 times he has been about the same issue, he has had to wait on those awful chairs for over 3 hours. They do not tell you that the doctor is running late, they expect you to just sit there gormless. A newborn had been waiting 4 hours before they told the parents their appointment wasn't even booked in properly. You rang my partner, cancelled the 1st time, and told him to book in because he has lost a scary amount of weight in a few months with no obvious cause and expect him to sit and wait hours for a prebooked appointment. and then when he gives up waiting you tell him to rebook, but he would have to ring at 8am on monday to do so. No. Because it will be the same situation. My partner will be registering at my doctors and you didnt care when he told you this. You put your patients at risk and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Disgraceful. In my opinion you should be permanently closed and left jobless. You're not even qualified to clean the toilets.

I'm beyond disappointed with this surgery. I've been very ill all week and have called at 8am every day. The line is engaged and when you get through you are told there are no appointments available. I have severe chest pain left and right side with pain in my left arm and across my upper back. I have a raging temperature and very fast heart rate. I have tried nhs. They arranged for ambulance from 999 but never turned up.

I have been with this surgery for over 30 years, and yes, it has changed, like all other surgeries. There are quite a few new GPs in the last few years, but the 2 I've seen, have been very good. I have never come across anyone being rude, but waiting for the phone to be answered can be a long time & exasperating. The surgery & pharmacy have been very helpful during lockdown, and delivered our medications as requested.

Absolute shambles!! Rang at 8.15am for an apt for my 12 year old son who's having head and sinus issues, yes listen for your phone the gp will ring you. Wait....wait....wait no phone call!
Later that day, my daughter calls for my 8 month old granddaughter who's full of cold ,congested, wheezing, bunged up and coughing like a trooper. OK yes come in at 11.30 tomorrow morning, which she did. Sat for over an hour with a crying baby because there's no record of the apt and the receptionist, she can't find the nurse!! My daughter has walked out. Were registering at another gp, this is ridiculous!!!
