Pretty standard University SU, significantly smaller than most but that makes sense for such a small scale campus. People who work there are nice but the drinks + food is extortionately overpriced for what you get. Also, the kitchen shuts so much earlier than expected so if you're looking for any semblance of food after 6pm you're out of luck. There isn't a single place on campus that does evening food which is really disappointing and feels like a missed opportunity. Other than that though, the SU has some decent events hosted for a magnitude of different societies and clubs so if you're looking for something to do and you're on-campus; nothing wrong with checking it out.

Bath spa university in comparison to other universities is small and is completely different due to its rural campus hence why the students union is different here. When I graduated in 2011 the gym upstairs had only just opened so the students union I remember at night events had two floors for us to enjoy - which probably made it bigger and better. To be fair the university does throw amazing summer parties every year and has amazing live bands djs etc. There’s tons of clubs and society’s you can join here and there’s food and drink available at the student union during the day so it’s a great place to chill or catch up with friends between lectures. The freshers events are fantastic but after that at night the students union here goes a bit quiet, unless you live on campus most go into bath to explore the nightlife or just have parties in the halls of residence off campus. It’s not bad for how small the university is it’s not really fair to compare it to other universities Bath spa is completely unique.

Usually lovely atmosphere and good prices. Operating at a REDUCED menu under COVID19 which now only comprises of pizza or pies and isn't served until 5pm.
