Set in a quiet cul-de-sac, Kingfisher Lodge Care Home reception appears very clean, spacious, welcoming and friendly. Special mention should be given to the activity-co-ordinators George and Kelly, in organising lovely fun birthday parties, for all the residents, often outside (weather-permitting!) in the garden.

I delivered flowers for one of the residents at Kingfisher Lodge. I would like to say how friendly and helpfull the receptionist was. She offered me refreshements and it was most welcome because was a warm day and it was much appreciated.

I visited Kingfisher Lodge in May on their fundraising event. The staff was very welcoming and polite. Noticed a great atmosphere between staff and residents. Beautiful home with a great garden.

I delivered to Kingfisher Lodge today. It was a warm day. As I approached receptionist she offered a cold drink which was very much appreciated. Residents having coffee in reception, a very nice atmosphere.

My Auntie recently stayed in Kingfisher for respite on the dementia unit while we went on holiday, Esther the manager of the unit was brilliant and helped my auntie settle very quickly. We met the activities team before we went on holiday to discuss Aunties interests and tailor a plan for her. The kitchen were amazing at accomodating Aunties allergies (and her fussiness with food). We had complete peace of mind while we were away and managed to relax knowing she was cared for! We will be booking in again for September respite and can’t wait to see Esther and the team again!

I visited Friday on business and asked for a tour of the site. I was taken round by Paris following my meeting with the Manager Claudia. Paris showed me round a happy care home, an organised care home, a loved care home. I cannot say anything about their care packages as I did not need that information; but what I can say is that every member of staff I saw from the housekeeping staff, activity staff, hospitality staff, to the office staff cared. Every resident I saw with staff was treated with dignity and respect.

I cannot fault this home,when you enter immediately you get a homely feeling which radiates throughout the home.
All the staff treat everyone like family Which I think sets them apart from the competition.i had the pleasure of meeting the new manager who has a great vision for the Kingfisher lodge.
