Updated review september 24.
Taking my mum out of this home as the care mum was receiving from some staff was terrible. 7 months of meetings and stress for myself over welfare of my relative. Enough was enough and took mum out and now happily getting the full care required. I can finally relax a bit.

My experience here is chequered with issues which I coild not put up with anymore. The time which should have been to enjoy visiting relative,i am never going to get back.
Complained and investigation found many many issues.
So cross that we went through this. Stress of it all is now effecting my life.
So angry and upset.

I had the privilege of singing for a Christmas evening at Badminton Place last week. I was blown away with the warmth and joy that I was met with - Both from the staff and residents alike! This is clearly a place that cares and puts on a myriad of events and happenings for all to enjoy. There was a mix of residents and families present and everyone was so friendly and happy. The staff were professional and super helpful- I was so grateful. I’m so glad to have made the connection and I hope to sing for many more events at Badminton Place!

We came for a visit, to find a respite or maybe permanent stay for Mum. We were made very welcome and were impressed by all the facilities and activities that are available. The atmosphere was friendly and we witnessed lovely interactions between staff and residents. Promoting independence was also obvious in the breakfast area ( self serve cereals if the residents wish to do so). Very clean and tidy and the bistro is a lovely area to sit and have a drink.

This retirement home really is lovely, from the staff right down to the decor and the atmosphere.

I had the pleasure to perform for the folks at Badminton place, it was wonderful to see them sing along and even more wonderful that the home organises such events for the residents.

The staff clearly care very much for those living there, not just for their physical health but their mental well being. They show real connection and it’s lovely.

The home Itself is beautiful, filled with comfort and fun, a grand piano and lovely food and drink.

Thank you again for having me, it was a pleasure!

My mum was fortunate to spend the last 9 months of her life in the community of Badminton Place and I am just sorry that she could not have spent longer there. The home has all the features of a top class hotel, with lovely rooms, good food, friendly and caring staff, the opportunity to make new friends and to enjoy a variety of activities. However it is much more than a hotel and when mum needed extra care I witnessed a level and standard of care and kindness that I could not have imagined. I would say that Badminton Place has a culture of care, kindness and respect and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Mum was discharged from hospital to Badminton Place where she was treated with such great care and kindness that it was a very easy decision to make Mum a permanent resident. The facilities are amazing and Mum always looks neat and tidy and well fed. The staff are exceptional and make every effort to enrich her days even when she is not at her best. Badminton Place really deserves 5 stars

My mother was in the care of the staff at Badminton Place for several months. During this time I got to know several members of staff well. I know that my mum was treated with dignity and respect but also with genuine affection and compassion. Staff got to know my mum and all her quirks on a human level, she was not treated as just a patient or resident but as a whole person. This was a great comfort to me as, due to Covid restrictions, I was unable to be with my mum as often as I would have liked. I did manage to visit her in the lovely lodge outside. She looked well cared for and was alert and happy. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and feel more like a five star hotel than a care home. The events team provide a varied and interesting rota of activities . They are professional artists and value the therapeutic role that entertainment has in peoples lives and well-being. I feel extremely fortunate that my mum spent her last days in the care of such fantastic people.

I have been looking for a care home for my elderly mother and went to see Badminton. I was immediately impressed by the style, cleanliness and welcoming feel to the whole place. The staff were very attentive and happy to answer questions. I got some further information from Simon Page which was extremely useful in helping me and my mother to make a decision.
