We wanted an EP assessment and report undertaking for our daughter who is of Secondary school age as the local authority had done one which was extremely poor, lacking in detail and was not an accurate reflection of our child's SEN and current situation.

The service provide by Katie (the EP) was absolutely first class and was a huge contrast to the one done by the local authority.

Katie was fantastic with us from the very first contact that we had.

We had many emails and phone calls throughout the process, where background information was shared, questions were asked by Katie and a relationship was built up with her and our daughter.

This takes great skill and understanding.

Katie knew exactly how to build trust and confidence with our daughter and is very experienced at working with children with SEN and fully understands how to get the best help needed for them.

The assessment and report was all done to a very high standard.

Katie worked tirelessly to get the assessment and report absolutely right as she knew how important such a document can be for a child with SEN.

This report was invaluable to getting our daughter a better EHCP and was used in a SEND tribunal.

Her work is extremely detailed and thorough and she went above and beyond to help us and offer advice even after the report had been concluded.

Nothing was too much trouble for her and we were very pleased with her professional service.

I would definitely recommend AYC Services to anyone who needs professional help with their children and SEN and we will be using them again in the future for any further assessments/reports where necessary.

AYC provided a fantastic service for my daughter's Autism assessment. Initially, we were provided with lots of detailed information around how the assessments would work. This included pictures of the building and room our daughter would be visiting, which helped so much in preparing her and making her feel as comfortable as possible. As with every stage of the process, this was above and beyond what we expected.

Anna and Sarah were so friendly and professional. Throughout the assessment, they were patient, caring and understanding. They provided lots of guidance and strategies to help both us as parents and my daughter.

We received a comprehensive report explaining every stage of the assessment and outcome and a long list of recommendations to help our daughter in a school setting which were very specific to our daughter's needs.

I would recommend AYC to anyone who is thinking about having a private assessment for their child. They provided us with a premium service and a truly personalised experience. Honestly what an amazing service we have received for our son. I have contacted AYC on two occasions one back in February when my son was struggling and was given over the phone advice from Katie. We felt no pressure to persue an assessment and we was given time to think it over. Then in August I reached out again to go ahead with an autism assessment. We was seen within weeks and we have received his full report which is worth noting has extensive information that also provides key relevant strategies to help him.

I would absolutely recommended AYC Psychology to anyone in need of the services they offer. The whole team are really knowledgeable and passionate in their subject areas and so warm and friendly.

They provided clear information, including photos of their consultation room and the entrance to the building itself which reassured our daughter greatly. Each time our daughter attended we were made aware of the names of the team members she would be seeing and the suggestion was made to look up their photographs on the website too. This helped our daughter feel so much more comfortable and meant the assessments didn't seem as daunting to her. Our daughter still talks fondly about Sarah, Anna and Shaunine now.

When initially searching for someone to carry out our daughter's Autism assessment and also explore possible Dyslexia, AYC stood out as being more personal, bespoke and had a smaller and more welcoming feel in comparison to other service providers. We found that they were all of these things and much more.

The diagnostic report provided was very clear and highly personalised, with really useful, practical recommendations for at home and school and signposting to additional helpful resources.
