My gearbox got significantly damaged in an accident and the AA call out guy recommended Austrin.

I had the vehicle transported to the company, after they assessed the damage it was evident that I would need to involve my insurance company. The insurance company use their own people which meant Austrin couldn't carry out my repair and they collected my vehicle and took it to their own repairer.

Austrin were, through the whole process incredible to deal with. What wonderful, friendly and customer focused people that went above and beyond to help me. My first call was to Dean who put me at ease and gave great advice then after that I dealt with Dave who continued where Dean left off. Dave was knowledgeable, reassuring and friendly. It's so rare that you come across this type of service from any business and I am so grateful.

I have spoke to other people who were aware of Austrin and they all say the same about this company.

Can’t recommend highly enough, fixed my gearbox for way cheaper than a dealership was going to charge and in a much quicker time too. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful, as they helped me with recovery of my vehicle and kept me updated with progress. Best experience I’ve had at a garage

I have just had the gearbox serviced on my Freelander 2.
I was extremely impressed with the professional service from the initial enquiry phone call to picking up the vehicle once the work was completed.
The staff are friendly, approachable and explained the job and the pricing structure from the start.
I borrowed a courtesy car for the day. This was completely (and refreshingly) hassle free. It even came with half a tank of fuel!
It was (and to quote my wife) immaculately clean!
They kept me informed on the progress of the job and let me know when my vehicle was ready.
I just wish that I could have all my vehicle servicing done by Austrin.

Following gearbox failure in my Audi A7, after taking it to the garage for service, It was recommended that I give Austrin a ring. Being right before Christmas it was always going to be problematic. I reached out and the phone was answered by Steven. I was greeted like an old friend and offered reassurance that immediately put my mind at rest.
Steven, Dave and the team would take care of everything, from arranging transport for my car to their workshop, to an honest assessment of all required, and provide a repair cost estimate.
Being the last call before leaving for Christmas hols, Steven called with the news that the gearbox issue was repairable and would be sorted in the new year. And it was.

Just had my XC70 in with Austrin for a full transmission rebuild. After a very well explained diagnosis, I decided to go ahead with the work. Just over a week later the car is done. Very good and precise updates of what stage my car was at and every time I popped by the lads were very welcoming! Top team, keep up the good work!

I rang with a gearbox issue, from first contact this company impressed me with their politeness, professionalism and knowledge.
I wish all garages operated at this level.
When I first rang they explained how they would diagnose and fix the issue which was a leaking corroded gearbox sump.
As part of the repair the gearbox was serviced.
They kept you up to date with texts and e mails all along the way.
When I picked the car up I was amazed. I didn't realise until now how much the gearbox needed this repair/service. The car is like brand new. The gear shifts are clean and quiet with no jerks and difficult to tell me when it is shifting gear.
I am amazed with the performance now and I am regretting not doing this sooner. It is like driving a different car.
It is clear now my car was slowly deteriorating but over time you just accept the car runs that way.
Overall the customer service of this company is first class and I wish all garages were the same.
Other garages need to look at how this company operate and pick up some tips. It shows it can be done.
In 30+ years of using independent garages this is by far the best for overall customer experience from any garage including main dealers and I congratulate them for showing it can be done if the will is there.
I hope you continue like this and I wish you expanded into general car service/MOT etc as I am sure you would wipe the floor with the competition.
I appreciated receiving a decent , polite and professional service and will be recommending you whenever I can.
