Never had an issue with getting an appointment.
Use the email option
It works wonders.
We are seen by very professional staff doing a hard job day in day out.
There's a large retired population in Rayleigh which puts pressure on services.
Everyone is given good service.
You all need to give the whole team a break

Only a few patients get an appointment and treated satisfactorily regularly.
STRESSED WITH BOOKING it doesn't stop their!!
So many different gps no consistency regularly for patient and gp familiarity.

Some of the gps are really NOT USER friendly you get less than 5 mins to appt told 1 symptom harshly when enter the room.
Great start stress now !! Flustered anyone!!

As patient ,Shall I just walk back out of the room seems some gps not want to treat patient but make them feel like a burden etc

Upset 😡 after brief appt health still not resolved further illness, exhausted attempting to resolve your own health.
Repeat! Repeat! Repeat!
Or give up take break! Crawl in your shell!
Live with illness 🤒 nhs struggle with help!
Who's exhausted why can we not resolve our symptoms in one appt many are related yet have to Repeat! Repeat yet again different gps explain over and over. Not resolve.

You just don't get a choice to suit you for preferred gp anymore, that assists with your needs this option changed blamed on covid!!,
The system is broken, bring back pre booking appts with choice of gp.
On the day and online only isn't working not enough appointments to meet the needs spend weeks trying to book and onwards.

How does audley mills surgery know how many patients are missing appts as no record no need to allocate more if no data.
No more than 25 appts daily this is the limit seems very low number for demand 😕 🤔

Ring up every second from 7:58 only to get through at 8:01 and be call number 40 in the queue because the line is busy as soon as it turns 8:00. Either someone is blocking the line or this has become a ridiculous game of chance just to get through to the booking team. Can someone please fix this broken and over subscribed system Audley mills very clearly has too many patients, it's time to build another GP in Rayleigh high street and start alleviating the pressure on this practice.

Impossible to get through to on the phone at any time of the day, you cannot book a simple cholesterol test without having to rock up in person or even file a complaint without rocking up at the surgery to collect a form ! this is risking people’s health as they cannot get the checks and care they may need. Unacceptable and must change

Same old issues- helpful doctors, let down by an impenetrable phone system. It's easier for a knife wielding drug dealer to get past nightclub bouncers than to get an appointment at Audley Mills.. Rayleigh deserves far better.

In a very difficult and over worked profession I can only say I have the greatest respect for all the staff from reception to nurses and doctors in challenging times they go that extra mile please show some respect for the staff they are doing their best

Staggeringly incompetent and entirely inexcusable. The booking system is crippled. The Doctors are good if your lucky enough to manage to see one while the issue is still relevant.
Beyond useless booking system. If you are trying to contact by phone you're more likely to get an audience with your local council faster, and when you do get through you are inevitably told they 'can't help, you'll have to try again tomorrow.'
Despite numerous complaints I see no improvement.

Quick update to this review, it's only gotten worse since the original posting.

I registered with Audley Mills Surgery 3 years ago when moving to the area. I can honestly say that I have always received first class care from every member of the team. I use their PATCHES online system for all non-urgent medical enquires and requests and have always received a response and appropriate treatment within 24 hours, as was the case today. The GP's, Practice Nurse, Pharmacist, Practice manager, Secretaries, Reception and admin staff have always been warm, caring, responsive and knowledgeable and have provided my care in a timely way. Thank you.
