I was so pleased my brother Brian stayed at Athorpe lodge. From meeting Kath the manager we were put at ease that Brian would be looked after. Jane the unit manager was a god send. She looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble. All staff did a fantastic job, including nurses, carers, cleaners laundry and even gardener were professional, pleasant and caring. I would recommend Athorpe lodge 100%.

We couldn’t be happier with the level of care our mum and us received. Fabulous caring loving staff from reception to nurses to HCAs to doctors and cleaners. All respectful and caring. We are so glad our mum got out of hospital and was there for her last days. She had a peaceful and pain free passing thanks to their care. We virtually lived there for around 4 days never once did we felt unwelcome. There are too many to thank but we would especially like to thank Grace Hellen Marlo Solomon Jess and Danielle and many others who’s names I didn’t get to know thank you 🙏🏻

Mum was in Athorpe Lodge for 6 weeks on end of life care. What an amazing caring place, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making mums last few weeks so comfortable for her and being so kind and supportive to us her family.

My Dad Eric spent over 5 years in athorpe and we never had any reason to complain or be concerned.The girls who looked after him were kind,caring,compassionate and nothing was to much trouble for them,my dad was very happy there and in the last week or so of his life they went above and beyond to make him comfortable while also making sure we were alright.Ive also come away with some dear friends.🙂
