I had an disagreement with a rat that the cat brought in (no joke) which resulted in requiring medical attention urgently. They squeezed me in to see a nurse within 10 minutes, which was very kind.

The triage process has really improved in the last 12-18 months and it doesn't feel as difficult to be seen when needed. Doctors, nurses and staff have all been helpful and friendly, very pleased to be a patient here.

I recently joined Ashlea medical practice and everything went very smoothly with the registration process. The staff were friendly and efficient. I even got booked in within 2 days for my travel vaccines! Can’t ask any more from a GP practice under such high demand and pressure. The staff should be congratulated for the excellent service they are providing for the local community.

Staff rude and incompetent - have had to complain to manager Elaine Smith 3 times now with no improvement in service. Hard to get appointments, child’s appt cancelled 20 mins before the event due to “internal meeting”. If you do manage to see someone you’ll never see the same GP twice - the advice, signposting and treatment is outdated and completely incorrect eg. Too quick to prescribe old, barely used types of antibiotics rather than waiting for test results, fobbed off to A&E for a case which clearly wasn’t necessary (which resulted in 3 hours of waiting only to be turned away with no tests or treatment). Poor hygiene at recent visit this week - endoscopy was placed on the DIRTY FLOOR and then put up my child’s nose! This place needs inspecting.

The receptionist team are extremely un helpful, and rude, put you on hold mid conversation and are overly patronising.

The doctors are decent, just impossible to get an appointment.

I received a same-day in-person appointment, had a thorough exam with a sympathetic doctor and was quickly referred to a specialist. Hard-working medics doing a tough (and often thankless) job - so thanks and well done!

I cannot praise the Doctors, Nursing staff and Receptionists enough. Since lockdown, I have been in contact through their website regarding advice and various prescriptions. They dealt with my requests very quickly and to a satisfactory conclusion. I am so pleased I registered with this practice and their fabulous friendly team. Thank you!

I have never failed to get an appointment and have great faith in all the medical staff. I must say I've never known any of the receptionists to be other than polite and helpful. I wonder whether patients realise just how fortunate we are in Ashtead when I talk to my relatives in other parts of the UK.

!005 hours and just off the phone to doctors after receiving text to make appointment to see a doctor regarding recent hip X-ray. Couple of minutes delay due to calls ahead of me. Receptionist extremely post, friendly and helpful and even re-arranged a previous appointment so that I could see doctor and nurse on the same morning within 1/2 hour of each other, thus saving me from having to attend on two different days. Excellent and thank you.
