Our experience with this doctors has been nothing but great for our family of 4. We have been seen the same day almost everytime we have called up for an urgent appointment and are usually seen at the allotted appointment time although this can vary understandably as you’re not rushed when talking to them.

The Doctors you see are friendly and welcoming where you can feel comfortable and no issue is too much trouble. A special shout out to Dr Williams for his professional and friendly approach where nothing ever seems to much trouble/silly to ask.

All aspects of this surgery we have experienced so far have been great from the Doctors to the nursing staff, midwifery team and receptionists. The surgery is clean and feels spacious as well as not feeling too clinical which puts you at ease and it has plenty of information leaflets for a lot of support you might require.

This is a breath of fresh air compared to our previous doctors we’ve been registered to.

Absolutely appalling, worst surgery this side of Barnsley. I’ve been ringing constantly for several hours, nobody takes any calls, there’s no call queue system or voicemail, it rings constantly and nobody picks up. What is the point in this surgery My Dad is housebound and terminally ill and this place is why we end up ringing the hospital. There should be penalties for places that operate like this. They end up costing the NHS a fortune. Absolutely diabolical and after reading the other reviews I can see these issues have been longstanding.

I had a very positive experience when I was faced with an acute and sudden condition. The reception staff helped to facilitate further appointments at intervals as required and I really had a sense that everyone involved cared making me feel reassured and positive about the standard of care.

If only 0 stars was an option. I have been ringing for 3 hours everyday for the last 2 weeks trying to get an appointment.
I got fed up of waiting so I walked to the drs and rang them to hear the phone ringing and them all just sat in back office laughing and joking. Well they are all a joke. & they are the reason why emergency departments are always busy because they can’t get in at the own GPS or it’s been that long It’s got worse they have had to go to hospital. It’s disgusting. Walking into that drs and people say waiting saying they have been there over an hour and not seen 1 dr call anyone’s name out or seen anyone go in for over an hour. You need to seriously get that place sorted or shut the place down. It’s not worth been open..!!!

Unfortunately zero stars is not an option. Have spent in total nearly 2 hours just waiting for a receptionist to answer a phone in the last few days. I ended up having to drive there just to get some results that haven’t come through the post. Despite no patients in the waiting room it took listening to receptionists talking to each other about the best way through Birdwell and worsborough nearly twice to be acknowledged. Maybe they should have cut short their personal conversation to answer some of the calls! Maybe take the phones back of silent! Maybe think about people who might be ill and aren’t able bodied enough to trek down to surgery, even though it’s nearly impossible to physically see a doctor anyway. Any other business that was run like this would be bankrupt. I know we have all suffered covid but the rest of the country is up and running. Come on guys get your act together it could actually be peoples lives at risk.

Can't get through on the phone, always end up waiting over half an hour on hold (even after you're told to call back after 10am) - the time is irrelevant. When you eventually get through you can't get an appointment? Can't book them in advance like it says you can. Never seeing the same person so constantly repeating myself. Was told to ring back for a same day appointment but when I did (first thing in the morning when they opened: after being on hold of course) I was told they had all gone... then the next day there were appointments but I was told off for trying to book a same day appointment for what they said wasn't an emergency yet I was just doing what the previous receptionist had told me?! This place is so bad. Looking for a new doctors... absolutely terrible and I would never recommend this place to anyone at all.

Awful service can never get and appointment. Receptionist are less than helpful. Never see the same dr twice. So you find your explaining yourself over and over again, eating into your 10 min appointment. Would give no stars if available

Could not get an appointment before lockdown, during lockdown and after lockdown. Nothing but, ring back in the morning when we open for an appointment. I ring bang on 8am, when they open, take ages to answer the phone, by which time, all the appointments are gone. There is no other way to book an appointment. Absolutely disgusting! Out Of Hours AGAIN!
