Would like to thank All the excellent, polite and friendly staff at Anfield Tip.
I am an elderly lady who has been taking the garden rubbish there for years.
Due to an accident recently, my left arm is plated which makes it difficult to lift.
I went today and one of the two excellent young girls could not been more helpful.
Many thanks.

Long queues always. Staff as much as fault as anything else, refusing to allow cars onto the site for no obvious reason given. Just when they’re ready to.

Went to take a mattress and a bag of household rubbish. Drove there in my motor home to be told it was to long by 0 .9 metre. The reason was because if two long vehicles came in there would be a long wait for others. It took me longer to chat to the staff and for them to measure my motor home than me getting a mattress out.
They wonder why people fly tip. So now I need to drive back home to push it into my car to drive back. No sense whatsoever or wait 21 days to have it collected.
So much for looking after the environment.

They're a good bunch there. There was a time when it wasn't such a pleasant experience! But for now, you're not made to feel a fool if you don't know where something goes!!

Waited for 35 minutes along with lots of others to be told it was now closed due to the wind. Not acceptable when the closest facility was Blaydon which was open but due to my postcode no access allowed !!!! Why is my poll tax so expensive? This is why folk dump rubbish and make the area look appalling and endanger wildlife!!!!

The queues are usually really long. Visited on 8th to find it closed. On checking opening times when l returned home to accidentally find information about maintenance closure. Not stated on main website. Very annoyed. Other people arriving at the same time.
