At very short notice, I needed a care home for my Uncle who had been in hospital with life changing injuries for several months. Angelcare assessed him quickly and very quickly afterwards offered him a room. My Uncle has numerous injuries, Parkinson's Disease and memory loss, and I needed somewhere that would look after him with dignity and respect.
Angelcare have gone above and beyond with the care for him, and the facilities on-site are exceptional.
A very short time later, his brother also needed more care, and the home initially offered me daycare for him, which gave him the chance to spend time with his brother, but also for him to get used to the home, before he also became a full time resident.
The difference in both of them in such a small space of time is remarkable and each time I visit I feel they are genuinely cared for to the highest standards.
The food is fantastic, the on-site bar is a bonus, the rooms are decorated superbly, it's warm, cosy, and a home from home.

Outrageous care home! I am extremely disappointed with the way staff are treated at Angelcare Residential Home. During my visits, I have witnessed multiple instances of staff being overworked, disrespected, and given little support. They seem stressed and undervalued, which has a noticeable impact on the care provided to residents.

It's clear that the hardworking caregivers are doing their best, but the management’s unfair treatment—expecting them to work long hours without adequate breaks or respect—is unacceptable. A place that is supposed to care for people should start by taking care of its staff. I don’t believe management will do anything about this as their staff turnover seems absolutely diabolical, sacking staff left right and centre.

Angel Care staff and facilities allowed dad to heal superbly after being very unwell having spent several weeks in hospital. He is now back at his home after 5 months of rest-bite care. As a family, we were always warmly welcomed to attend evens and support dad's recovery. Dad ate very well and managed to build up some of the weight that he had lost, which was thanks to the chefs and staff. We felt very lucky to have found such a home and continue to be thankful.

Angelcare have been professional, welcoming and caring. They are client focused and my aunts well-being and happiness is at the core of everything. The facilities are well thought through and hotel standard. The activities are stimulating and engaging. There is no on mass gawping at the TV. They have a dedicated activities coordinator on staff. The home is very clean and access for relatives is not restricted. They have been proactive arranging appointments for hearing aids within 2 days and and reviewing medication. My aunt and I are both very happy and I feel reassured she is the best place.

I cannot speak highly enough about Angelcare Residential Living!!

My mother has advanced Parkinson's and I live abroad, therefore making it very difficult to see her on a regular basis. The whole team at Angelcare have been nothing but amazing, the care they give my mother is second to non. They are gentle and considerate to her needs and also very communicative with myself, letting me know the slightest change in her condition.

I am truly grateful for everything they do for her, if I could add a few more stars to the 5 already, then I would.

Thank you Angelcare team!

My mother has been at Angelcare for over a year and is nicely settled. Around September she said to me "I give you my permission to put me in a home, when I am ready" - not equating Angelcare with a care home.
The staff are constant and my mother gets on well with them, and is able to have a laugh and a joke with them.
All the residents seem happy and well cared for whenever I have visited.
Staff are very attentive to the needs of residents and also to the needs and concerns of their loved ones. They go out of their way to help. An example is when I am overseas, they call me on WhatsApp so that I can have a video call with my mother.
The home is warm, clean and comfortable. There is a separate quiet room with the day's papers.
My mum enjoys her food at Angelcare and they provide her with a vegetarian diet.

My husband spent six weeks at Angelcare Residential after being discharged from hospital having suffered from a major stroke. The care he received during his stay was excellent and the staff were exceptionally kind and considerate. The management team were very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile whenever possible. The home is spotlessly clean and well presented and offers a variety of activities. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Angelcare Residential to anyone needing compassionate care for a family member or friend.

My 95 year old mother has recently moved to this home. Everyone has been most welcoming and helpful. The staff are both friendly and professional and have made her moving in during the second lockdown as easy and pleasant as possible. I am particularly pleased to see that they take a nuanced approach to keeping visiting safe so that I will be able to see my mother and its very easy to get to speak to her by phone.

The staff tell me that Angelcare are an established home care company and this is their first venture into providing residential care. They have recently opened after spending some years refurbishing the building and the staff have obvious pride in it. Their pride in their place and their service seems to stem from a genuine passion to provide excellent care and quality of life for those in their latter years. I find this refreshing, compared with other experience my mother and I have had over the past few months.
