I cannot fault this surgery, ever since I moved here I've received excellent help and treatment. The receptionists are nice, Yesterday I needed urgent medication after an asthma attack and got it almost straight away without an appointment, the e-consult is very good. Well done all.

If I could give zero stars I would!
This is my local doctors I had used my whole life with nothing else to compare to, but after recent time away I had the lovely experience of using a different doctors with them showing me how it should leading me to understand how terrible my local one is.

They truely don’t care about your if your under the age of 30. I’ve been misdiagnosed or turned away here more times than I can count on both hands.

One time I even got given the time of my appointment by the receptionist on the phone I turned up to learn she gave me the incorrect time by 30 minutes and I was turned away to do yet another e-consult to book in even though I was categorised by 111 as “urgent need of care”

This place is a death trap, if you have any other options for doctors use it!!

Abysmal service, rude and incompetent with zero empathy or care for the community they are meant to support. Alongside my own, friends and family have shared multiple awful experiences at this surgery from the way they were treated by practitioners and reception staff. I honestly don’t understand how this lack of care is possible - where is the accountability for our public services? Just reading through the countless other reviews left by other patients makes me seriously question whether this is a surgery that should still be operating. Sadly, they have a monopoly in the area and residents have no other choice. Shame on the practice partners and those who work here - do better for the community you are meant to serve.

Bridport medical centre is TOTALLY disorganised!!!
Receptionist can't even give you an appointment!!!!
How does that work when you need notice to be able to get a person with dementia to an appointment. Having to ring the person with dementia 4/5 times every day leading up to appointment to remind them that they have an appointment?
This place is a total disgrace...
Chaos rules....
Receptionists are drones....no longer see people as people....just doing my job guv!

I know some people voice their concerns regarding contact and getting appointments. Although online access is a bit clunky and irritating, I have always managed to get the result I've needed by persevering with the repetitive questions on the eConsult system or by waiting to speak to someone on the phone. Staff are great. The loss of a star is for the eConsult, definitely needs work.

Econsult did not reply within the timeframe given. I have now run out of medication and it is the weekend so cannot call about this until Monday

Receptionist abusive and refusing to book appointments. When told she was recorded her tune changed but all of a sudden I was 'rude' and got quite severely abused. Abuse isn't just shouting its in the way people speak. If someone calls up asking their doctors for help because they have been the victim of a serious crime they shouldn't have to deal with nearly 20 minutes of abuse. I have posted the recording for public knowledge as bridport had the right to know that our doctors surgery receptionists enjoys bullying vulnerable people
