Lovely park, great for a stroll, feed the ducks and a spot of refreshment in the cafe. Very well kept. Toilets very clean. Generally a nice place to be.

Lovely park devided to few sections. Much bigger than we expected. We enjoyed nice walk here.

This really is an excellent park! Lots of well kept, dry paths for walks, not one but two cafés serving delicious food and drink, ponds, woodland, varied and interesting planting, all-weather tennis courts and to top it off, a miniature steam railway! Parking is a bit of a challenge (hence only 4 stars), but within walking distance of Hastings town centre, and the 329/329A bus runs alongside the park.

It's beautiful and well kept. The children's playground has things to climb on couple of swings and a roundabout but nothing much really for little ones
Both cafes are well run, friendly and an extensive menu including vegan pasties and cooked breakfasts. Lots of family events in warmer months

Probably the most beautiful park in East Sussex, England, Alexandra Park boasts of 44 hectares of land in the heart of Hastings. It is a very popular attraction for family picnics, exercises, outdoor activities, dog walks to name a few. I always go here to unwind and enjoy nature especially when the birds starts to roost in their nests and listen to their beautiful songs as well as I enjoy the many types of trees, plants, shrubs and its amazing nature landscapes. Amenities are good with free public toilets, outdoor activities like their Multi-use Games Area and restaurants along the stretch of the park which is maintained all throughout the year. There are bicycle lanes, tennis courts, a football/basketball pitch, children’s playground, ponds, and a fishing spot too. Dog walkers are advised to put lead on certain areas of the park. Car parking around the park is mostly free and accessible but can also be challenging especially when the weather is sunny and bright as people flock to the park to enjoy it. Highly recommended.

Lovely sized park for a family walk. Good playground facilities for younger children and a reasonably priced cafe. The park toilets aren't the greatest in terms of cleanliness, but at least there are toilets - and they're open! (The toilets in the cafe are clean and well kept, however and are available for those purchasing food or drinks)

Wonderful park! Really clean, spacious and felt very relaxing to be there! Easy walk towards train stations and the old town. Glad we visited and had a long walk around

A wonderful huge park I walked the dog from the bottom starting at the war memorial to top reservoir. Many beautiful trees and shrubs there is a mini train for children to ride on, a play centre, all which were busy, nice cafe in the middle to get refreshments if required. And the pump house top end near reservoir for a tasty stop. Great walk..
