Awful staff, and ridiculous waiting times to just get through for a phone call. Even then that may not be enough.. My wife who is 20 weeks pregnant had to wait on hold for 40 minutes to be told no appointments, and then find out the next day from A+E that she may have sepsis.. Great work guys.

Receptionists are probably the rudest most uncaring excuses for human beings I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking to. The doctors I’ve seen and interacted with do not listen to symptoms and make assumptions about your health. I actively avoid contacting this place at all costs. Currently on the phone with them now. “Caller number 1 in the queue” have been the only person in the queue now for 56 minutes. They’re refusing to answer the phone. If you’re reading this. Get yourself and your family far away from these incompetent disgusting people. There are far better and well run places in town than this place.

I'm leaving this surgery as I have no confidence in them.

My dreadful experience today: in the phone queue for an hour and a half. They told me no appointments left today. I said can I have a routine appointment, they said no they're not offering them. I asked them to pass a note to the doctor to make urgent referrals. They called me back, doctor won't make the referrals, wants me to make an appointment. I asked for one, they said again they're not offering routine appointments.

USELESS .... what am I supposed to do then?

I have a health condition that means I am in excruciating pain almost every day. Cant even get a doctors appointment. The doctors are good if you ever get an appointment.

Tried ringing doctors this morning, got on phone at 8.30am in queue of more than 30. At 8.32 a voice message came on saying all routine appts had been taken and it was emergencies only! , so in 2 minutes all appts gone which means they only had a handful of appts to offer. This is not acceptable, I've tried booking online as they say you can do and as I understand it the appts are released at 8.30am. So no appts available on line, I tried at 8.20am, 8.30am for a few days but there is nothing to book.
Put in a request for a repeat prescription online which was declined due to me not requesting it for some time. This is one of the things I'm trying to get sorted amongst others. My smear test is due. Apparently only 1 nurse at the moment and she only does them on a Monday and is booked up for some time. Why isn't this surgery offering prebookable appts. The only way to get an appt is to get on the phone at 8.30am and join a queue where most of the time you will be told all appts have gone!. Is it lack of doctors here that is part of the problem?. I'm also trying to get a face to face appt with Dr Hamilton that will probably never materialise. Come on NHS can you please do something to get this once good doctors practice back on its feet again, I do hope things will improve in the future.

I have recently left this practice, due to no confidence. A few years ago, I would have rated them 5 stars. The doctors there were excellent. Unfortunately, some amazing GPs have left and things have changed, NOT for the better. Tried to get an appointment for my husband last year, 2 weeks of constantly ringing and being told no appointments, eventually a phone appointment! Unfortunately misdiagnosed due to no face to face appointments. He died 6 weeks later.
