Had to come on Christmas Eve of all days with my partner. The staff were attentive, warm and supportive with helping him get his breathing a bit better. I felt for them having to work Christmas Eve and Christmas but they carried on as if it was any other day and should be commended for doing the work they do cause I can't imagine it's easy. Thank you Airedale staff.

Lovely, friendly and helpful, very efficient staff.
I was in and out with a broken bone in my arm after having at least 15 x-rays seeing the doctor twice and then a follow-up appointment in 3 days' time.
Four and a half hours from start to finish. I cannot fault them or thank them enough for all they did for me.

Ok it's a long wait in a&e and you see all of humanity trundling past. But the staff were so kind and patient, even at 3am when they must have been as tired as I was! The follow up operation was very efficient as were the appointments, no long wait there. And they couldn't have been more caring and considerate. Obviously going to hospital is unpleasant, but they made the experience as good as it could be.

I was at the hematology oncology department, and I would just like to say the staff there were amazing. Whilst we waited and quite a while, the staff there kindly asked if we would like a drink and something to eat. They gave us chocolates and crisps, and offered tea as well, they could see we were there a long time, this kindness was not limited to us only, but rest of the folk who were waiting patiently.

I found these gestures very nice and thoughtful. Thank you to all the staff at Airedale hospital. Lovely gesture and may you continue with your hard work !!

The NHS nowadays gets a raw deal, but the staff do their level best. It's the little things that make a big difference .

Thank you .....

Feel I must comment about two of the staff from the Rehabilitation Unit here who called to visit an elderly friend who was taken to be checked over at Airedale after a recent fall at home....
Claire and Liz were extremely respectful and patient with a dementia sufferer, and avoided causing confusion by pursuing question my friend was unable to answer. They inspected the facilities on both floors of course the house, each time carefully asking permission and commenting on 'such a nice home'...and took additional time looking at old family photo's. Unknown visitors can be distressing, but these two handled the situation very well. Thank you!

I spent 7 hours in A&E A few days ago. I witnessed the never ending procession of people arriving. The staff in triage were efficient and friendly despite ongoing printer problems. The info on the screens in A&E was interesting . The doctors I spoke with in the Treatment room were friendly and easy to talk to. Although they were incredibly busy I wasn't rushed and was talked through my condition at length. The NHS may be broken but the staff at Airedale are a Godsend.

Lovely staff but totally overwhelmed . Had to wait over 3 hours on an ambulance trolley, in a corridor, before my 84 year old father could be seen by the hospital. There is clearly lack of assessment beds and staff. And 4 hours car parking cost £8.30!!!

Despite having to spend nearly 14 hours with a spinal injury. I was treated so well by an amazing team. The pressure they're under, you really need to see but you will still get a smile. Thank you so much
