Laser Tag Review

I think this could be a great place but in all fairness it looks like it’s been put together by a year 7 drama class. Not sure how having extension leads plugged in and hanging off every wall has been passed off by anyone but it’s very amateur. The venue lacked atmosphere, no build up, no back story, no visuals on a screen. Some cosmetic smoke would improve things and the windows blacked out on the bottom as well. The rules of the game were not explained nor was there a debrief at the end as in who won, best player etc. some certificates would have been nice. There is apparently supposed to be some music as well but it wasn’t working so that didn’t help.
Overall I think it requires some thought and investment with enthusiastic dedicated staff to run it and it could be good.

Good place for a quick workout, staff are very pleasant.
Only small criticism is that the floors around some of the equipment is quite dirty. Just needs moving out so the floors around can be cleaned, other than that it would be 5/5. 😀

We went to the tots grip and go Wednesday morning session and it was brilliant. It's for 2-4 year olds and there's harnesses for them and they can have a go at any of the walls in the climbing centre. There's also a load of soft play that they put out for the younger ones, so everyone is covered. It was a great experience and they both (2 and 3 years) enjoyed it a lot. It's buggy proof and situated right next to the cafe. Plenty of space and time for the kids to have a go at what they want. Tom (the instructor) had a lot of patience and was great with the kids too. Highly recommend. We paid £8.30 for both!

Climbing wall centre was good, worth booking online as spaces can fill up quick over holidays.
The cafe is very basic tea's coffees and snacks.
Staff are very young one of the lads working there was asking our 11 year olds if they made it to the top on one of the climbs and he didn't quite and he told him he was sh*t which we wasn't happy about.

A great activity for kids. There’s a cafe so silly’s can sit and watch.
Or you can stay with the kids. Very safe set up.

An awesome day out with the family. My 1st experience in climbing. It was tough but we'll worth it. I definitely want to try it again. Kids loved it.

Went for a kids climbing party at grip n go, great set up, for kids and adults. Lots of different wall to climb, kids really enjoyed it.

Very helpful, as soon as you are struggling, they come to help.

Overall Wall Climbing:
I felt super safe climbing, there are so many different fun walls, that you can climb as you like when you like. It's not like other places where you need permission to climb, and you have to help others with ropes 90% of the time, it's just straightforward and you can go at your own pace. Some walls are challenging, but mainly, there are quite easy, most are even good for little ones.

It's wasn't too crowded, and there is a fairly good priced little café area with quite a lot of seats.
