Hello 👋 After waiting on the NSH waiting list for over two years for my daughter to be assessed for ADHD I decided we waited long enough. I knew my daughter has ADHD bc I have been medicated for it for nearly 30 years. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and with GCSE’s around the corner, I was tired of her struggling and thinking she wasn’t clever. That is far from the truth, she is brilliant in many ways and the school system has broken her confidence and I don’t want her living in this mindset. I know going private is expensive but what will be even more expensive is having a child grow up in a world that isn’t suited for the neurodivergent brain. If focusing was easy, the ADHD’er would have done it by now, it’s clearly as problem. Soooo I found Tracy online and booked in, I was able to get an appointment fast and was pleasantly surprised that the assessment was just at £500. Then the package deal for all the follow up appointments was another £500. This is a lot of private help for £1k!

Compared to my experience at another location:. I had paid with Harley psychiatry nearly £3k just for the assessment and first few appointments. After that my therapy was £287 for 30mins! Every month for three months, then once every three months there after!! So ya, very expensive with other practices.

Tracy charges £75 for the follow up appointments to discuss how the medication is working. This is much more reasonable/cost effective.

They also send out letters to your child’s GP and have a service that sets up Shared Care plan. This means that after three months of the medication working well, you can have the NHS pay for the medication.

Many of you may not know but there has been a worldwide shortage of a lot of ADHD medications and pharmacies have upped the cost of the ADHD medication. I used to pay £54 for my medication on a private prescription and now I’m paying £85 on that private prescription and sometimes £100 per month. Pharmacies are taken the Mick, so getting onto a shared care plan as soon as possible is extremely helpful and Tracy smooth the gap for you with your GO.

What I’ve learned about Tracy is that she has also lived with ADHD and has completed medical school with the help of her medication. So not only does she understand this from a medical scientific point of view but from her own personal walk in life. being able to relate to someone is important and I found that my child was easily able to talk to Tracy with her kind and outgoing personality. As a parent, I felt as if I could trust her to make the best decision for my child.

I am thankful that we have help with the ADHD centre, there’s a lot of money out there for autism but there isn’t enough out there for ADHD. a business that doesn’t put money first is a blessing. I’m so happy that I googled and found Tracy!

Excellent service. We had a diagnosis for our son of ADHD. Finally we were able to understand his needs and he could get adjustments at school. It suddenly all made sense!! We decided to trial medication which was a complete success. The intervention meant successful GCSE results and hope for a future where he can achieve what ever he wants. Thank you for the help and support. Tracey always answered emails promptly and offered appropriate guidance and support. We were an accepted onto a shared care agreement at the doctors within 6 months which means cheaper prescription costs moving forward.

I found adhd treatment centre by chance and desperation of seeking some help.
Tracey got me in really quick, I have since been diagnosed with ADHD combined and have chosen to medicate of which Tracy has helped with with regular check ups.
I cannot thank Tracey enough. I look forward to our chats as she just gets it. I feel I can be my true self which is really refreshing.

I spoke to a few people before deciding on ADHD treatment centre down to their genuine desire to help people, therefore I cannot recommend enough.

From booking, to assessment and aftercare, there is consistent understanding and communication. Tracy really gets to know you and supports you and your family in every step of the process. The aftercare is outstanding, making you feel very looked after, on the right path and cared for.

After years of waiting on the nhs waiting lists for myself and my son, we decided it was best for his mental health and well-being to bite the bullet and go private. I am a nurse and I was dubious about getting a private assessment as had heard that some schools, gp surgeries etc won’t accept private diagnosis… that’s incorrect!! The adhd treatment centre use and follow the exact protocols and procedures as nhs. The only difference being you don’t have to wait a lifetime and it’s not free. It’s like going to a private dentist… you’re just paying for the privilege of actually being seen!
From the initial email process of requesting an assessment to actually having his assessment was 2 weeks! 2 weeks!!!!!!!
Then after a very intensive assessment with Tracy French (fabulous human!) we started meditation. Our adhd nurse practitioner, Tracy, has kept in contact and asked for regular updates, weights and bps etc to find the right medication for us. She has been such a great support. My only issue is that I waited so long as it was “too expensive”… hindsight, it’s not that expensive at all! Worth every penny and since being assessed and on the correct treatment path, I’ve spent far less money at 2am while doom Scrolling TikTok shop 😝. If you have any hesitations…. I hope this eases them and you get off google and ask for your assessment asap! I’ve “lived” 36 years in pain… I didn’t need to and now my son won’t suffer like I did, all thanks to this amazing service.

We’ve had a great experience with tracy french at the adhd treatment centre. I was so stressed ringing around different adhd places and then found tracy!! Look no further you can book an adhd assessment in just a few weeks and so far the aftercare has been amazing. Very affordable and never mentioned money untill I asked, unlike the other adhd places I rang. Plus tracy can prescribe the medication if needed. Highly recommend. Thanks again tracy 😊
