My mum moved into Aden Lodge on the 22nd September.
In a few weeks mum as gone from being sad , really muddled and unkempt at times. To a much brighter lady who actually looks happy.
When I left mum at Aden Lodge she would not speak to me, it broke my heart.
Within a couple of days she was bright as a button.
At home mum was falling constantly and was covered in bruises, I still help mum with her personal hygiene and I'm so glad to say no more bruises.
She has a falls mat at the side of her bed, if mum gets out in the night staff are alerted immediately.
I now know mum is safe.
Wonderful staff, all of them.
A new activity coordinator as just been employed.
This really is a necessity. It helps to keep the residents minds working, encouraging them all to participate who are able.
Having to leave your loved one in the care of someone else is a very hard decision, but this was definitely the right decision for my mum.
She safe, she's happy that is what we all want for our loved ones.

This place is like hell on earth. They let my mum die. They told me she was gaining weight, they lied. She was less than 6 stone when she died.

The Manager and staff at Aden Lodge are Brilliant and always there to help. Especially Carmen the Manager who goes above and beyond to help.
