We've been using A1 Quality Home care for a good few years now since we lost our Mum. This is for the care of our Stepdad who has late stage Alzheimer's. Their support has been amazing. Left my mum in bed all day, never made her any food, could see she was under weight, little to no English, dismissive of instructions, 1 incident nearly killed my mother and company shrugged it off and sent the same staff back within a week. Glorified cleaners, they do very little for the care of the customer and show little to no empathy. I'd never want this company looking after anybody in my family.

I'm so very pleased with the care I receive, my carers very polite,and extremely careful when tending to my.needs.i have one who is the best ever,I've told her she was born to be a nurse,also the staff st the office are extremely helpful to me me arrang all my calls as I have alot if hospital appointments.also the office staff appreciate that I cannot have carer's who are not able to do my stocking as they are very tight,which I find very thoughtful of them. I've been lucky to have had A1 accept me onto their client list & from meeting the absolutley lovely Sabrina, Who was very reassuring & took the time needed to explain everything to me, To the carers starting. I cannot Thank A1 enough. They have so far given me 1 main carer, Vivian who is absolutley AMAZING, She made me feel comfortable from day 1, Is extreemly kind & considerate & utterly Brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble & Even when i'm in absolute agony, Her Beaming smile every time she comes in is enough to make me smile & feel a little better.
I've also had 1 other carer & she too, Took the time to get to know me & my needs.
After previous care agencies that i've had which were really awful. I'd like to thank A1 for their kindness, Consistancy, Fabulous communication, Accomodating my needs & providing me with Carers who do Really care.

A1 Quality Homecare have just started providing care for my elderly relative. The staff are angels, they are diligent, caring and have to tolerate verbal rudeness and difficult people, but don't get recognised for the important sacrifice they make, taking care of and caring for our families. Nothing is ever too much, doing errands and watching for the so important signs when things are not quite right. It's like having extended family when we can't be there. Thank you A1.

Rota time changes that affected time to take vital medications. Lazy staff. For 3 weeks I had a fl9ck of women, only 3 of whom were, " Fit for purpose". Of the rest, one didn't know what mince was, one made me a " pot of tea" in a saucepan, boiling the water with tea bag in it. Not many knew what a pot of tea meant. Many staff were recruited from foreign climes and this government and A1 should hang their heads in shame, their contracts are veiled indentured slavery contracts. The men & women recruited cannot be expected to know our culture and habits, and need at least a decent grasp of the language to deal with fragile, vulnerable people in their homes. I do not rage at those staff of A1, but I also met racism in their British colleagues. Training failed these contracted immigrant workers, this government is so busy making their fortunes grow to notice or care, how the people from generations of families who fought for the freedoms they enjoy, are disrespected and abused.

We can truly say the office staff are absolutely useless.
Think my husband spends more time on the phone complaining about the lack of ability to following his requirements for the care of his father.
We have a few amazing carers when it goes right.

Always go extra mile, nothing is too much trouble.
Very reliable & trustworthy can highly recommend them to anyone.
Excellent company so glad we use A1 quality home care.
