Great food, the best Chinese takeaway in the area, the staff are friendly, the food is always hot & tasty and there is a good varied menu.

Everything is cooked fresh to order unlike so many places that use a microwave to reheat......a 5* hygiene rating also inspires confidence.

The décor in the waiting area may be a bit tired & needing a refresh but that does not detract from the food in any way which is all that matters with a takeaway

Ordering was lovely and the lady delivering was fantastic. Sadly the food fell heavily short and was burnt and over cooked.

I thought to be helpful I’d order our delivery well in advance. I ordered at 6:15 and requested for delivery at 7:45 allowing them plenty if time on a busy Friday to prepare and deliver our meal. It wasn’t delivered by 7:50 but thought as it’s a Friday it can be expected. Received a call at 7:59 saying where are you. I said it’s for delivery hence when I ordered I said it was for delivery and YOU told me my address to confirm. Told it’d be 20 minutes to sort delivery. Was more like 30 minutes. Delivery driver was very apologetic. We were looking forward to a nice meal but as our order had been made at least 35 minutes earlier it wasn’t fresh. Two portions of egg fried rice at £2 each was just cold at stuck together in a big clump. £8 ribs were dry. Sauce in two of the main courses turned watery. Phoned to express my dissatisfaction to be told multiply time only thing they can do is offer 10% off a future order. Our order was £34.60 so to offer £3.46 is an insult. Enough to buy some prawn crackers which most chineses give you for free. No competition=no standards

The place needs a good clean !! the food was expensive compared to other Chineses I ordered battered chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce they looked good but once you brake into them and realise you have batter and a micro chunk of chicken in them that ya need a microscope to find in all the batter is a rip off I can't say we will be ordering there again as last year we ordered and noodles was salty soaked in sauce stuff so we thought we would give it another try save the drive to China House at thorne I wish we didn't bother and should of just gone china house like i say no chicken in the chicken balls and the dirt all over the shop when collecting the food is extremely off putting people who go here are straight out the pub!! very disappointed I am too used to having a quality Chinese

Very disappointed last night, food was horrible. Chicken with spring onion & ginger. 3 pieces of chicken, 2 pieces sliced ginger and 2 spring onion, rest was bulked out by normal onions, nearly £8 for a dish on onions? Seems to be happening on a few of their dishes where they fill it up with onions.

Probably one of the worst I’ve had in a long while. Battered chicken balls slimy under batter, sweet & sour sauce like water and very little taste, chips awful…… in fact all had very little taste…

This is not against the food but the 'manager' as, after I was rudely spoken to by a member of her staff whom kept saying what? What you on about? when I was trying to explain the meal I wanted instead of trying to help, they then got the order wrong, missing a meal completely so, on delivery I rang to check and, as they had read it back to me assumed it was right and I would be paying extra for delivery. I was quite annoyed that they suggest I collect the extra ... Why ask for delivery? The person apologised but I was rather annoyed and told them so as if they hadn't been so rude to me in the first place I don't feel there would have been a mistake. Imagine my surprise when the 'manager' rang me back and told me I had made a child cry ... Then told me said child had worked there for 5 years..... I asked how old to be told I don't need to know. You cannot still be a child who has worked for that time... Without working under age and have they not come across an annoyed customer before or you have obviously not trained staff to deal with it and I won't be the first or last with a complaint unless you are so perfect? Do not ring me back unless, as manager, you also change your attitude. I had said as the 'child' said sorry, it didn't matter now and put the phone down. It should have ended there. I had said my piece but no ... The 'manager' rang to tell me off .... Ok. We don't get a Chinese meal often. It will be less now!! You might also want to read the review from Khloe Jade 9 months ago. Seems like we had a similar experience!

Our order last night was missing chips and prawn crackers. My husband rang and told them and within 5 to 10 mins they had delivered them. The service was brilliant and the food was equally good.
