ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! if I could minus I would! My Niece attended here after fair crawling there with stomach pains & nearly passing out & had to be helped by a wonderful stranger to be kept 5 hrs waiting, told it was just a painful period & take some paracetamol & told to leave. This is not factual whatsoever! It's not the dark ages! Listen up ladies, periods or not, it is NEVER NORMAL OR OK to be doubled over in pain to the point of passing out. That is not a normal period or anything normal.

“Jenny” the receptionist is completely unhinged, and unfit to be working here. I and several other people who had initially passive aggressive rude checkins with her then witnessed her screaming at people who couldn’t hear their names being called in an overcrowded waiting room, she also yelled at a homeless man outside for going out to check on his dog.

From the relative of a patients perspective not a great experience so far. No one answers the phone and if they do we get cut off whilst being transferred. My mum doesn't have a mobile phone and I live 400 miles away so can't just pop in and see if she is ok. So she went into the abyss that is the hospital 24 hours ago and I have no idea what is going on. Very worrying and frustrating.

My sister went for an ultrasound and was turned away with them saying 'you cannot eat up to 6 hours before'. She was not warned about this and the lady in reception was incredibly rude about the situation.
The lady then gave the ultrasound a chance and proceeded anyway. The lady then said that the results are not clear and you will have to come back tomorrow.
Then the next day when she had NOT eaten and turned up for her ultrascan she was told that the previous ultrascan gave them the results they needed.
This was a wasted second trip and an awful expirience with the first trip.
Avoid this hospital when you can and suffer the extra few minutes to the next one.
Not even worth one star!

Stressed out beyond imaginable all because of the poor parking situation emergency procurdure I'm having done requires bloods to be done and I can only have it done here but how can I when I can't out parked anywhere an hour is great for a quick visitor but when someone has to wait in a room with no time given to wait an hour isn't great at all please sort the parking problem it a massive pain to people who needs to be seen and have test done as a result of poor parking this can delay my emergency procurdure from being done at this rate I'd have to wait longer to have this done at another hospital

I spent 6 hours in A&E today and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped me. Everyone was very calm , kind and caring and that allowed me to feel safe . I had to visit several departments within the hospital in order for a diagnosis to be made and every person along the way couldn’t do enough for me. Thank you all

Had to visit a&e last night and we're new to the area. We couldn't believe how quick we were dealt with compared to our last area. All the staff were fantastic and caring and kept us advised what would happen next.

I came to the hospital after 11pm with stroke symptoms. The nurse took a blood sample, checked my blood pressure, told me to wait in the waiting room, and informed me that the wait time was 4 hours. After waiting 7 hours, we noticed that all the people who were waiting before us had already left and the doctor was seeing patients who came after us; they didn't seem to be in a worse condition than me. My partner started questioning the receptionists about when we would see a doctor as I came in with stroke symptoms and I started feeling even worse. Another nurse called us, and we went to another check-up room. When she opened the door, there was a doctor lying in the dark on the treatment bed with his phone in his hands. Before we entered the room, he left. The nurse checked my blood pressure, which was 173/116, and said that it was not high and we have to go back to the waiting room. My partner asked what we could do if I had a stroke while waiting; she replied that we would be able to write a complaint. While we were in the hospital, we didn't even receive water; there was some water next to the receptionist, but there were no cups. The vending machines only had fizzy drinks.
