Valentina ran a cooking workshop and conversation cafe for us in our building - it was fantastic. We learned about different cultures, challenged stereotypes and explored different perspectives which was made easier using the link of food and also the conversation cards. It made for a really interesting and fun evening - thank you team SVH Inc.

I attended SVH Inc's Potted Conversations event and it was so lovely. Valentina knows how to bring complete strangers together, put them at ease, and spark deeply nourishing and thoughtful conversation. We had fun potting seeds, reading proverbs from around the world, and eating absolutely delicious food from J&J Kitchen in Harrogate. And who doesn't love a raffle?!? I only wish I could have stayed longer!

I loved attending Potted Conversations and Valentina was a wonderful host. We were treated to some delicious food and explored the steps when planting onion seeds. If planting onions requires love and ongoing care - do we do the same with the people in our lives? We need to water with kindness and understanding, so that everyone can flourish.

Huddersfield Giants recently invited Valentina Hynes to speak at our established Giants Women in Business event in October 2023. From first initial contact right through to the event, Valentina was personable and a delight to work with. On the day of the event, she arrived promptly, prepared and ready to get up on stage in front of over 100 women. The theme was 'Equality & Diversity' in which Valentina gave a wonderful insight into her life journey, covering difficulties faced being a black woman as well as all of her accomplishments no matter what was thrown at her. The event was also held during black history month so it was great to discuss this to raise awareness. Her talk was inspirational, heart warming and really resonated with the audience. Feedback from event attendees has been incredible. It was an absolute pleasure to have Valentina as part of our event and I would recommend her to anyone needing an inspirational and motivational speaker.

Valentina spoke to classes of children at St Matthew's CE Primary School during our careers week in June. She was very professional and pitched the talk at an appropriate level. The children gained a lot from the experience and we would welcome her back again.
