Honestly a great experience… I didn’t have much, if any, MMA experience however Tom (the head coach) has been a great teacher. His passion, knowledge and practical application of martial arts has been a real asset in helping build fundamental skills. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a 1-2-1 session with Tom and it was brilliant!

Tom has fantastic attention to detail when coaching, confirming with the student throughout if they understand what is being taught. Allowing me to ask questions if I didn’t completely understand.

I felt very comfortable walking into this club, Tom was very welcoming and the vibe felt great!

The best!!

Arrived with 0 knowledge of boxing and absolutely no ability. After a last minute decision to sign up for a charity fight night, I thought it may be a good idea to get some additional coaching. However, I soon tripled my initial training hours and found a life changing passion.

The coaching is of extremely high technical standard, whilst coached with enough passion to make all technicalities easy to understand/ master. Additionally, every second of every session was entirely devoted to MY aspirations and everything I set out to achieve; I felt very listened to and as if my goals were important as theirs. To go into sessions completely exhausted after a full day of uni and come out feeling refreshed, is very telling!

It is also appropriate to note how this level of coaching compares to other gyms in the area. The training camp provided with my white collar fight also included two other sessions a week. I can safely say I did not get nearly as much out of the sessions from this gym. enjoyment wise, but I also guarantee I would not have achieved nearly as highly, if those other coaches were my only source of training. Therefore, I can not give enough credit to this gym for my journey so far and I now look forward to further exploring my potential. 10/10 recommend.

It's been roughly 3 years since my first session with Hypaspist MMA. The head coach is incredibly knowledgable and the journey has been insane. From the day 1 where I learnt the basics right up until today where I'm a regular face in the gym, still improving tremendously and even working towards competing.

I think the first thing that will strike you when you get your session booked in, is the incredible attention to detail and vast pool of knowledge something that is wildly overlooked in many other gyms.

The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Whether your in a class or a 1 to 1 session. And any nerves you have about joining a gym I promise you will feel right at home here.

In summary:
Hypaspist mma is one of the most friendly, knowledgeable and is open to all abilities new or veteran.

I can't recommend this place highly enough.
