Very easy to arrange, I had less than 24hrs notice that my daughter would be arriving and wanted to set up cord banking for her. The lady I spoke to was very clear and answered all my queries on the spot. The phlebotomist waited and was on hand after I’d given birth to collect the cord and tissue. She wasn’t very skilled taking blood and I had huge painful bruises afterwards. But the service as a whole was great and I feel very reassured that my daughter has frozen cells should she need them in the future.

I had a mixed experience with Cells4Life.

Initially, learning about the service both online and from the customer support team was relatively easy. Same with arranging the pickup of the blood cord and blood tissue.

However, on the day of collection, the lady collecting the blood cord was extremely invasive and inappropriate.

Moreover, following the specifications on her email, she collected the placenta as well which wasn’t part of the package I had purchased. After collection, I received a call that they had my placenta and that I could pay extra should I wish for it to be stored as well, which I founded extremely unprofessional and pushy.

Lastly, the communication and transparency after the collection downgraded substantially.

Very poor service. I regret i chose the wrong company for my child's cord blood banking. I informed them about the delivery date and time and the hospital name, however, they went to a different hospital. So, they could not provide the service to me. The most annoying thing was, that they refused to reimburse my advance payment of £510. Its an atmost shame.

Excellent end to end service. Contract and documents were straightforward and easy to understand. Sammy and Mason were there to answer my questions and queries. Our phlebotomist, Dawn, was lovely, she called us in advance to introduce herself and then we later met her at the hospital when it was time for the baby's arrival. Everything was collected and transported to the labs without issue. The additional BabyInsight genetic testing gave us peace of mind. It was all so professional, seamless and caring, I can't recommend the service enough.

We used Cells4Life to store our babies cord blood. We were interested in the potential use of stem cells for regenerative medicine in the future. The service was EXCELLENT. The sales staff we dealt with were really knowledgeable and took time with us while we asked all of our questions. We never felt rushed. When my wife went into labour we called the phlebotomist who arrived quickly and had to wait a long time. She was great, really kind. Our medical courier arrived, and everything worked really well. It was seamless and did not impact on us at all. A few days later we got our results and again the person we spoke to took time to explain everything about them. Our babies cells were good quality and are now frozen. I think Cells4Life provide a great service and would definitely recommend them.

I had a great experience with Cells4Life. I chose them because of the additional samples they can collect and because they can store more stem cells than any of the other providers. They’ve also been doing it a really long time which I thought was a good sign!

The lady (Sammy) who helped me get set up was really friendly and helpful. There’s quite a lot of information to take in and she was really patient with my questions.

When it came to the collection, it was seamless and we couldn’t believe how quickly the courier arrived. My husband rang right after the placenta arrived and before we knew it the courier was at the hospital.

Afterwards the good service continued and I really enjoyed getting back the results from the collection and our storage certificate.

Overall I would highly recommend Cells4Life and we plan to use them again for our next baby.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this company. When my partner and I initially inquired about their services we were given a wealth of useful, user-friendly information. There was no hard sell and once we decided we wanted to go ahead there was always someone available to answer our questions and talk us through next steps. On the day, the person who attended our birth was lovely - professional, discreet and calm . We were so reassured by her presence and manner . Following our daughter’s birth we have received regular updates and know that we, and our little girl’s future should she ever need their services, are in safe hands. We have recommended this company to many friends and do so without hesitation. A huge thank you to the whole team.

I can not recommend highly enough. It was a pleasant experience for me. From the first day when I asked the home package, they offered me all the informations I need, as I wasn't sure about it nor have knowledge about it. Tony Pombo he was more then amazing, he gave me all the informations I need,and answer to all my silly questions possible.and he always reply really quick,even on a Sunday. The experience with Phlebotomy team was ok. I was texting with him since the first signs of labour,so he will be ready,but by the time I was in active labour he wasn't available but he called my second phlembotomist and she came really quick....my labour was 1.5 hours until I gave birth..at 2am. She was really great and encourage me and talk really nice with me. All the team was great, Sammy ,the team manager ,really nice amd made you feel like part of a family.
I really recommend them, as I feel the life of my children is in a bit more safe hands(but I hope I will never need the cells).
