I can’t recommend Emily enough. We contacted her when our daughter was 6 weeks old as I was experiencing some issues with feeding and I hadn’t been able to get the support I needed. My confidence was really suffering and I felt so lost. Emily completely transformed our breastfeeding experience. She was so friendly, kind and knowledgeable and really listened to me. I was so anxious ahead of the home visit but Emily immediately put me at ease and it felt just like speaking to a friend. The after-visit support was also amazing and I felt so supported and empowered. It’s thanks to Emily I am still feeding my daughter at 10 months, and I can honestly say I love breastfeeding now. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without her and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs support with feeding. As a midwife myself I expected to find breastfeeding easy, however this wasn’t the case for my first child. I asked Emily for support when I was pregnant with my second baby. We needed Emily's services when our newborn boy was 3 days old, not latching well and rapidly losing weight for the first 3 weeks of life. My wife and I were determined that breastfeeding was the feeding option we wanted for our son and without Emily's help, we wouldn't have been able to continue until now that he is a year old.
