Wanted some info from the historic group so 10 days a couple of weeks ago drove over to Burnley but the library was closed for maintenance. Went again and it was open but only one of us could go in as no dogs were allowed. They didn't really know why. Failed again as the historic department were still not there.
Will think about going elsewhere.

Great place for kids, good selection considering the small space. A lack of parking let's it down however there is limited on street parking a few minutes away. It's located near a playpark and close to town. Staff were friendly and our daughter enjoyed being there. Baring in mind the lack of funding for public libraries, it speaks volumes that its treated well and in good condition.
