I had a very positive experience with Kingswood Care Home. The staff are exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive to the needs of the residents. They always made sure my nan was comfortable and well-cared for, and they were quick to communicate any updates or concerns with the family.

The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The activities and social programs provided were excellent, ensuring residents stayed engaged and active. I always felt confident that my nan was in safe, compassionate hands at Kingswood.

I have visited Kingswood Court on numerous occasions over the last few months to run a baby and toddler singing group with the residents. The home is always warm, clean, feels really 'homely' and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The residents always seem happy and comment on how settled and comfortable they are there. We have great fun singing along with the little ones and mums. We even get refreshments provided and we have social time with the residents. I know that our baby group is just one of the many, many activities that Sarah and Cat organise for the ladies and gents of Kingswood Court! They work so hard to provide a stimulating and enjoyable environment in the home.

My daughter and her friend are currently volunteering at Kingswood court care home, they are both working towards their bronze Duke of Edinburgh award.
They have been welcomed by all the staff and have really enjoyed getting to know many residents, it’s been a pleasure to be introduced to the residents and some family members.
On visiting the care home it feels like a beautiful place, everyone is very friendly and happy to help.
Sarah the activities coordinator has a real passion to create experiences for the residents, my daughter says the residents are happy and it’s a really lovely place.

My mother-in-law has been at the home for over a year now. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Food is very good and varied. The home always looks very clean and tidy. The newsletter is lovely to receive showing the residents doing the variety of activities that are available. Communication is excellent, regular phones call to keep me updated. We are very pleased with the care that she receives.

Sarah Walton the activities Coordinator was really friendly and looked after my daughter whilst on work experience, thanks to Sarah and the team for looking after her and making her so welcome, she had a great time helping!
The overall atmosphere of the home is warm and friendly, the residents seem happy and that shows! Thanks C x

The time has come again to put pen to paper or in this case finger to keyboard for my latest review on Kingswood Court care home. There have been many improvements over the last year since Barchester took over the care home activities have improved greatly with more residents participating. As I have said in the previous reviews sometimes the staff can be rushed to get all the daily tasks completed in good time. The downstairs area has been improved greatly dining room and living room area and bathroom and toilets have been done to a high standard hopefully this will continue to the upper levels in the foreseeable future. It would be nice if they had more trips out for the residents especially for those residents that have been in the care home for a long time. Food is generally good and the kitchen staff are always very helpful sometimes it would be nice to see a little more choice. Cleaning staff do a great job and are always very kind and caring and always take time to communicate with the residents.

We were recommended this care home by Lottie and attended the open day. On arrival, each member of staff made my brothers and I feel very welcome, especially the receptionist and lady who organises the activities. The General Manager Mathan looked after us during our visit, he was knowledgeable and reassuring. As we toured the home it was heartwarming to see Mathan take the time to speak to the residents we met, you could tell he knew each person well and that it wasn’t a courtesy ‘hello’. It was clear how passionate he is about the home and obvious how well it is run.

I have been a regular entertainer at kingswood court since November 2022. I found Activities coordinator very welcoming and interactive between my self and the residents. Taking song requests from residents that l learn and bring to my next performance. Great atmosphere particularly with all the new up grade of furnishings at the home ,is lovely. And some times the request to sing a song or Birthday to a residents in there room when not able to attend activity group.
