If I have to describe the Rosa Burden centre in short (and having seen the inside of hospitals in quite a few counties and countries!), it feels like they took some of the best Nurses, OT’s, Physios & Consultants - and set up an excellent program for those with FND - which is not only informative and practical whilst being on the ward, but also helpful in the ‘real world’, with skills which can be continued to be developed long after leaving the Centre.

Participation is key. I had the privilege to listen to, learn from, and make friends with fellow inpatients who understand the daily & ongoing struggles of FND. I felt like it was an opportunity of a lifetime and I am still amazed that this Centre is part of the National Health Service.

It goes to show what can be done when the government funding stays the same, but the staff Enjoys being Present and is eager to lend a Helping Hand. A ‘Thank You’ will never suffice. I am Deeply grateful for my time spent at the Rosa Burden Centre. I could mention every staff member by name, as they have left such a huge impression on me. THANK YOU, all!!

I have been receiving help from the Rosa burden center for ten years now. Twice yearly at least. I can call and receive call backs within hours. Offered 3 weeks stay . They have given me so much good advice since I was diagnosed with FND and FIBRO. And communicate so well with my GP about meds too. And also put me in contact with other help. Very happy with them all.

I have been treated appallingly by Rosa Burden Centre.
I’ve been told I was a ‘did not attend’ even though I was soeaking to the consultant for an hour. Since then, it’s all gone to pot.
No-one called when my phone appointment was due. An hour later, I called them, to be told the doctor had finished clinic and gone home.
I’ve been waiting for almost a year, since the first successful video call, since then I’ve been treated like a bit of dirt. Made to believe it’s all my fault. None of their referrals or promises are done.
I try to always see the positives, but can’t find any.
Disgusting.

I stayed at The RBC last night 30th November 2022. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, caring, attentive and helpful. Excellent bedside manners, can't fault them. Went in for a sleep study and was informed every step of the way as to what was happening and why. Thank you for looking after me xx Kelly Sheppard xx

Absolutely amazing professional care given throughout my 3 week stay there. Have suffered from NFD neurological functional disorder along with ME and Fibromyalgia for 2 years now and have gone from pillar to post trying to figure it all out and trying to cope. But 3 weeks within the care of the centre and the professional staff I am now on my way back up to getting control of my life again and control the debilitating episodes I suffered constantly. I still have a way to go but I couldn't of done any of this without their care and guidance and most importantly the knowledge and understanding of all the care staff there.

They way they have treated my husband is disgusting!! He was waiting to see them for months he kept ringing up and told he has to wait.. Then months went by still nothing. He suffers with memory loss and confusion at 28 then he rang once again and this stupid person of a receptionist said to him " just sit back and forget about it"! Absolutely disgusting!!!! Then when he finally got an appointment they kept changing the day.. Then didn't put him in the system so when he showed up for an appointment he got told they double booked and couldn't see him!! They haven't updated and off his record as the gp has nothing from them!!!...
