I was tested for low iron levels, didn't hear anything from the GPs after, went on NHSapp 2 weeks later and my iron levels are incredibly low (a score of 9 when over 100 is normal) and they never contacted me. I have then been trying to book an appointment for weeks but unable to do so. I rang and they said no more appointments over phone, they told me to use Patches which is available for appointments. Logged on at 2pm and it says it's now unavailable, called back again and they said it's only available until 11am (this has changed recently apparently, making it harder to access- people will just call instead and block up the phone). I've now logged on this morning at 8.45am to Patches, it says it's unavailable to book appointments AGAIN. I've now rang and I'm position 95 in the queue. Such poor service, I'll be making a formal complaint. Why introduce a digital service to access appointments and then make it still inaccessible? I used to speak so highly of this GPs but they are getting so much worse it's very sad.

The nhs is clearly struggling as waiting lists are sometimes over a year and it's hard to get an appointment at the GP in the first place, but it really helps when the people you speak to on the phone are kind and understanding like they are here. It's rare to find this and I know it must be hard to keep positive when it's so busy so I just wanted to say I appreciate it

First you will have to prove that you are sick enough to deserve an appointment (I had to ring three times to convince someone to see me and I had undiagnosed pneumonia at the time). When you do finally see a GP they will tell you that you should really have come in sooner.

Currently trying to see a physio for ongoing back pain and had to wait two weeks for an appointment. Missed by appointment by 12 mins (made later by self check in not working and having to queue behind 5 people with various problems, not just checking in). Said they can’t see me and offered a replacement appointment in another two weeks. What is the point

I’m fed up of having to wrestle with these people to try and get some help.

Do not book an appointment with DR ALYNA PEREIRA she is extremely unprofessional and unorganised she didn’t process a very important prescription for my toddler ( after informing me on the phone that the prescription is ready and she had processed it) who is now suffering badly and thanks to her his symptoms have worsened.

My husband attended the surgery recently wit a chest infection after lung surgery, the doctors were very caring, seeing him 3 times in one week to ensure he was getting better and the antibiotics were working. Thank you very much

Every day it's the same. Everyone is always ill at this surgery, been going on for years. Maybe, if you're experiencing high volumes of calls, get some more people to answer the calls? You're always 'experiencing high levels of calls'. This morning, we are 73rd in the queue. The health service in the country is quite shocking.

Since when a doctor is not trained to advise on vitamins and supplements? Shocking service and appalling treatment the other day a Fireclay health St George, I'm afraid to say. Went in to tell the doctor the vitamins I was taking for a skin condition I suffer from provoked vomit and nausea and that I was worried that I was overdosing on something, but I was dismissed with no help nor compassion for my situation. Now, this is unacceptable, especially considering that some of these vitamins e.g. selenium if taken in excessive dosage can cause diabetes. Well, wouldn't be easier for the public health service to prevent illnesses in the first place rather than having to cure one because of negligence?

This is the best GP surgery that I have ever had. Dr C helped me enormously with my mental health & today I rang to make an appointment for another problem. They were snowed under, I was 67th in the queue, but they have a great system, rang me back & sorted me with an appointment immediately. The hard working staff here are caring & considerate. I have had terrible experiences with doctors in the past but I'm so happy to finally be with a wonderful GP practice. Thank you.
