Had an appointment booked with the nurse for an injection as I’m going on holiday. The nurse went home sick, which is perfectly normal and understandable. I was running late due to traffic and tried calling the practice and was on hold for 9minutes, walked into the surgery whilst still being on hold- to find that the two receptionist were talking away, whilst the phone was ringing. The staff were very quick to state they were talking about important things- for 9 minutes? No wonder patients don’t get appointments. When I told them I had been on hold for 9 minutes the lady told me ‘ not possible’ so I had to show her my phone as proof! Absolutely shocking practice! To then tell the patient they are lying even though my phone was still on hold!!! This is the second time this same incident has happened to me! Inadequate service from front of house!!

Shocking reception .... Speaks to people sarcastic, rude...laughs at patients "Definitely need reeduating in social skills" !!
Overpowering, when you talk or explain ...

Adds there own scenarios up without listening properly to you.... And after questioning, would much rather argue a point than get the job done thoroughly..... Basically calls the patient a liar!!!

If you're in need of an urgent appointment then the system in place at Chalk Surgery works very well. All members of staff are friendly and seem to go the extra mile to help. Very lucky to have such a great practice so local.

Good docs if you don’t mind the wait. Well unless you have hypothyroidism which they seem to think is depression. This is the 3rd time I’ve been fobbed off with this. I’ll just take my tablets and hope I don’t Die 😂

very hard to get through on the phone so did the online call bck. doctor CB abt 3 days later and gave me a prescription to collect. I still can't get as they never open the front door!! ridiculous!
