I’d like to leave a review to say how happy I am with my appointment today with Dr Saeed. I’ve dealt with this problem for years and never felt properly heard when I was younger, so I ended up leaving it. He really listened and came up with a plan that I’m genuinely pleased with. Feel super relieved.

Absolutely appalling medical centre. They refuse to give appointments, I have a slipped disc with full blown sciatica and the receptionists will not give me a GP appointment. I've had an MRI scan nearly a month ago and they've lost my results. This has been going on for 5 months now. I will lose my job, my home, everything.. all because the receptionists play doctor and won't let you see a GP. Absolutely disgusted by the service at this medical centre.

I rang the Medical Centre (MC) at 9.24 am on Monday to be told I was twenty first in the queue and offered a call back, which I accepted. The call back call came at 10.34 am when I was told that as I was now passed the 10.30 cutoff for dealing with telephone calls I had to use WhatsApp. I chose not to use WhatsApp but rang the MC just after 8 am on the Tuesday to be told that I was seventh in a queue. Again I agreed to a call back. When the MC called back they only called for 5 seconds and then rang off!! They did not ring back so I rang them to complain and ask to see my doctor. I waited to hear back about my appointment only to receive a message that they had exceeded their quota and to ring 111 or visit the medical centre in Corby. I rang 111. They told me to get back in touch with the MC who then told me to go to Corby.
I do not believe the Medical Centre is performing very well. The quality of service is shocking.

This WhatsApp appointment system is unfair for working people. The window of 7.30 am to 10.30am is not enough time for what is a lengthy chat box form. Most people have children and animals to take care of in the morning and then have get ready for work themselves. We are not all off work ill, but still need to be seen by a doctor. We are not being fairly treated. In my opinion this puts genuine patients off using this WhatsApp.

New to the practice and not impressed!!!! Rang to make an appointment 19 in the Queue 30 minutes later @ 14 in the queue gave up. Rang the following day waited 15 minutes to get through. Once I got to speak to the receptionist I spent 15-20 minutes going through my symptoms then was informed that info would be sent to the Triage nurse after which I would be offered an appointment. The appointments offered were 4 weeks from the initial phone call. So by the time I would have seen the doctor 3 people would have dealt with my symptoms when a 10 minute appointment would have been sufficient! This system (which apparently has been trialed since February) is a completely inefficient, not fit for purpose and a total waste of tax payers money!

We tried to get an appointment for our two-year-old son on two consecutive days using the WhatsApp system but were told none were available. When we called, we were advised to keep using WhatsApp but we were unlikely to get an appointment until December. We ended up taking our son to urgent care unit in Corby, where he was transferred to hospital by ambulance. This could have been avoided if he’d been seen sooner . The WhatsApp system puts patients at risk and needs to be reviewed.

Since the switch to WhatsApp for communication the service has been awful.
We took my daughter to an appointment booked by WhatsApp today, and there was no appointment booked. We had to go Mistrys pharmacy who are absolutely brilliant, but there are limitations to their service.

Rang yesterday as I was struggling to breathe, they weren't taking calls so I was directed to 111 or 999. Rang 111 and ended up at Kettering A &E waited hours to be seen. I had a chest infection, which could have been dealt with at the surgery by a nurse and I wouldn't be taking up important emergency appointments. Absolutely crap, I never go to the doctors and the one time I do need to I can't.
