From the first booking, to the treatment (anal tag removal), to the aftercare, the service was fantastic. I felt clearly and properly informed, supported and cared about throughout. The procedure went really well and I was taken care of very well throughout (dignity and comfort were carefully considered). It is about a month since I had it and everything has healed up well and looks as I'd wanted it. I was given realistic expectations regarding the healing process also and the appropriate medication needed to recover as comfortably as possible. The admin staff, nursing staff and Dr Fabricius were great. I feel it was worth the journey from South Yorkshire. Given how much time and energy it would have taken to try to get this procedure on the NHS (and indeed the NHS often will just not do this type of work), I decided I needed to go privately. Whilst ideally healthcare would be more affordable in general when it comes to things that need to be privately accessed, this price was the best one I found and it has provided me with what I was looking and as I say the care was very good.

As far as procedures goes, mine was smooth and was handled excellently. Dr Fabricius was really clear in detailing the checks both on the phone appointment and in person, I didn't have many questions but the ones I did ask were answered reassuringly and felt I could trust in his expertise.

On the day all the staff were lovely and friendly, they got me prepared with ease and clearly know how to handle patients in what could be classed as adiscomforting situation! I was checked multiple times by the Dr and nurses to make sure I was okay and couldn't feel any discomfort. The procedure went smooth and was over in no time.

After care was explained really well and I was given everything I needed to know. I know if I need any help I would be able to rely on the team at any point.

Fantastic experience visiting here. Was instantly put at ease. Filled in the form online, quickly got a call from the receptionist. Dr Fabricius then called to talk me through the procedure and what to expect. He listened to my concerns and remembered the conversation we had when I arrived at the centre.

Everyone is so friendly and kind. Special mention to Julie and Jill who really helped me.

Was really nervous prior to booking this appointment after terrible experience from the NHS surgeon next to the centre of Life. Was so rude and unkind left prior to the op.

I can't imagine a way to improve the service or the time scale, couldn't be more impressed.

There are companies charging a lot more for this procedure. I can't think how they could do a better or more professional appointment.

I even recommended them to the taxi driver on my way home.

Recently had a procedure for a Vasectomy here at Northern Medical, from the first consultation, all the way through to surgery ran very smoothly. Dr Fabricius and his team were very professional and made the whole experience very comfortable, pain free and was completed before I knew it. I recently attended this clinic for injections in my hip to relieve osteoarthritis.
I would highly recommend Northern Medical Practitioners. They are a great team. Kind, skilled and compassionate. They really listened and included me at every stage. I felt well looked after throughout the time I was there. They also gave out clear information both written and in discussion so I also felt fully informed.
I wish them well and would definitely use them again.

I was very nervous before my procedure, but as soon as I got there, the doctor and nurses were extremely friendly and supportive, and my nerves calmed down massively.
