Eye test was great and good value however I nearly fell off my chair when £875 was suggested to fit new lenses in two pair of glasses based on my new prescription!

I had previously used Vision Express and have brought two pairs of designer frames with lenses for that so simply couldn't accept such an extortionate cost.

The pricing is beyond a joke so went to Asda - same coatings etc on the lenses and price for both pairs was £178 total.

Excellent end to end experience . Chi Choi spent time with a detailed examination of my vision ( it’s complicated ) ensuring all tests were carried out efficiently whilst reassessing me throughout the process. He has built trust by saying what he will do and doing just that, consistently. Add to this the “front of house” engagement is very good. Charles welcomed me to the store and his engagement whilst I was waiting to have my vision tested was super good as was the post vision summary. Simply put Bayfields of Nantwich provides excellent service and care and remains my optician of choice

I had treatment on my ears which had become blocked causing severe hearing loss. Even though I arrived early, I was seen to immediately. The treatment was undertaken in an efficient and professional manner. Every one was kind and caring. My ear troubles have been completely resolved and I would not hesitate to return if I suffer the same symptoms again.

I was quite disappointed with my experience at Bayfields. Having been a good customer of both Pinningtons and I Wear for a number of years. Having taken my glasses in which I have had under 2 years snapped, for no apparent reason. Because of this they kindly checked the warranty on the frames and I was informed they were out of warranty. I queried this as I overheard the warranty was for 2 years, which meant they were in warranty, having purchased then under 2 years ago, only to be informed the warranty cover was for when Bayfields purchased the glasses from their supplier, not when I purchased them from Bayfields. Surely the warranty should be between the customer and Bayfields, not Bayfields and their supplier. Lessons learned for future purchases

I am so grateful to have walked in to this opticians the first day my child needed glasses. Not only were they welcoming and wonderful that first day, but every time we have needed help with his glasses, they have been warm, welcoming, friendly and so very, very helpful and not to mention exceedingly efficient! They are absolutely brilliant: professional, efficient, very friendly and they exceed expectations every time. Thank you to them and wholeheartedly 100% recommend them!

I can’t thank the young lady who served me yesterday and again today for her patience and understanding. Yesterday I bought some sunglasses And decided they were the wrong ones, so I had to go in today and exchange them. Seems like a straightforward transaction, But not when you have anxiety. She gave me time to relax and calm down and help me in a new choice of sunglasses. I Don’t know her name, but thank you.

Excellent service, as always. I have in the past, attended another “high street” optician thinking it’s better value for money. It’s not. The attention and care given at Bayfields is second to none. So helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and I will continue to visit them for my optical care in future.

Went into Bayfields Nantwich this morning with a pair of my sunglasses as I know they stock the brand to see if they could help me with a repair. The young lady (Unfortunately I didn’t get her name) that served was very polite and extremely helpful.
She got the repair sorted within minutes and even gave them a clean for me.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
