We recently used Hamilton House for a weekend educational conference and it was the perfect venue! It had fantastic facilities - everything we needed, we were even able to host our social event here in the evening which was great! And the staff are so lovely and responded promptly to all of our queries. If you’re looking to host any kind of meeting, conference, or workshop - I’d highly recommend!

Really great for get togethers with friends. Great kitchen facilities to rent and in very quirky area of Bristol. Layout of the building is very confusing tho.

I was lead to believe by a member of staff I met at particularly outré Vegan krunk night (Neil) that this venue is actually Lewis Hamilton the famously well groomed car driver's house. Having now visited I can confirm this. We saw Lewis Chilling out eating a Cheesestring on the sofa. The Missus was delighted. He soon got bashful though and went back to his quarters.

Dissapointed we spoke to Neil who said if we gave him a tenner he'd let us hide in the crawl space and look at lewis through the knot holes in his pine tongue and grooved cladding. The missus and I spent the rest of the afternoon observing his grooming rituals and I must say we were transfixed.

I'd definitely come back and would recommend Hamilton's house to anyone.

Very popular local venue for both drinking and events. Event/room hire is mostly charged at cost which is good for a small business or local community groups. Not the best in terms of decor and a little chaotic in feel. Nice staff although helpfulness/usefulness is quite variable.

Great place hosting lots of good music, informal with a playful atmosphere. You might have to queue to get in. Good food and a great gift shop with independent artists work. Their notice board has everything that's happening in Bristol pointed to it so worth checking out.
