This place wasn’t for me, and I wouldn’t have chosen to go here, but I’m here so here goes. It was reasonably quiet when arrived, but that soon changed, it was incredibly loud, with so many people. In a small space. I guess this would suggest it’s a popular place for some. This was a weekday afternoon so I was quite surprised by the amount of people . Appears to dog friendly, with a few dogs passing my table, which alleviated some stress for me. So for context 3 of my party were perfectly happy with the choice and quality of their food. So take this review solely on a fussy eater perspective. Whilst my server tried her best to find something I could eat, I was only left with the option of a bowl of chips. There was no barbecue chicken for the potato skins, the chicken tenders could not be done without the sauce, and there was nothing else on the menu. The chips were fine, just not what I wanted. I had a capucino after which was the highlight of my meal accompanied by a caramel cheesecake which lacked any flavour. Overall a disappointing experience.

We ate from the lunchtime menu and had the hot sandwiches comprising ham, cheese and tomato; tuna, cheese and onion and the tomato, avocado and pesto along with a side bowl of chips. For drinks, we had orange juice, latte and a cappuccino(with marshmallows as a topping). Overall the food was well prepared and tasted fine with ample size toasted sandwiches and 25 - 30 chips. Drinks were good, especially the latte. Pleasant and welcoming interior which is easy on the eye and the young staff interacted in a polite and attentive manner. They were busy so food took 20 mins but they informed us of this. There is a clearly written board for dishes of the day and multiple dessert/ cake options. There was also free parking and it's 5 minsxwalk to the lake. They could provide a children's menu in the future and we were unsure if there was free wifi. Overall, we would happily return. 8 out of 10.

Second time visiting Wave Cafe. The first time was for coffee and cake, they have a wide variety of freshly baked cakes that are absolutely amazing! This time, we went for breakfast and it was fantastic - really fresh and flavourful. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming 😊

We had hired a canal boat for the day, this was a good stop on the way. Although at first glance it looks a bit weathered, however inside was well maintained and the food was fresh, reasonably priced and tasty

I just visited for the first time with my 2 small children and it was one of the nicest experiences I’ve had in a long time. The staff were exceptional with my kids and as a gluten free eater they were really helpful with the menu. The breakfast was also delicious! Highly recommend! Thank you

What a find. I had the home made quiche which was absolutely beautiful. The pastry was homemade and it was very tasty. Probably the best quiche I have had at any cafe. Well done to the team . For dessert I had lemon brioche which was served warm with cream ..again delicious. If I was going to be critical I would say your photographs on your website do not do your lovely food enough justice.

We just love visiting this quality, quirky cafe /restaurant in Earlswood. From a simple sandwich, cake and coffee snack after walking the dogs around the lakes to a sumptuous Sunday lunch, this place has the lot! Charles, Laura and the team work so hard they deserve all of the credits they receive. So much so we booked the smaller room of the two for a family gathering to celebrate my wife’s 65th Birthday ordering an informal 2 course buffet which was hot, fresh, tasty and beautifully served.

Never disappoints. The best coffee, and the food is fabulous as all freshly prepared and cooked in-house by 2 amazing chefs. Always a great selection of specials available as well as the regular choices. Had beef stroganoff with fresh vegetables yesterday, and my husband had a fantastic tandoori chicken salad. The desserts are amazing too! I'd recommend booking if you definitely want a table, as it's a busy / popular place! Outdoor seating also available, making it a great summer destination for both you and your dogs, if you've been for a walk around the nearby Earlswood Lakes.
We visited late afternoon at 2.30pm
