Visited this week and the home was buzzing with Halloween activities. There was music, laughter and goodies all around the home. The residents were up dancing and having a lovely time. There was hardly anyone in their bedrooms as the drawer of the entertainment was too much.

I honestly feel like Ashlyns has saved my mums life. Since she moved to the home I've seen such a change in her. Her health has improved and the regular interaction and events organised by the home keeps her mental health stimulated too. Shes even put on a couple of stone thanks to eating properly which she didnt do on her own. Staff are always nice and friendly despite having a very difficult job to do. You worry when your parent has to go into a home and at first my mum was totally against the idea but Ashlyns not only supported me but also gave my mum a new lease of life and she now loves being part of the ashlyns family. I will never be able to thank them enough.

My mum moved into here in January 2021 during covid I can honestly say it is well run and all the staff are lovely. My mum really enjoys living here and has made new friends and enjoys all the activities. It is lovely to see my mum settled and happy and I would like to thank all the staff.

We have nothing but praise and thanks, to all the amazing staff at Ahslyns, since it became our dads new home, last September. We also refer to Ashlyns as our second home too now, with the warm, friendly and family welcome we receive every time we visit. There is always good communication between the staff, and family at all times, which helped emensly and gave us reassurance when dad was settling in, which took no time at all and in a place he now calls home.
There are daily activities for the residents to join in, from baking, gardening, movie shows with popcorn and more. Dad loves the singers that visit, singing being his passion. Day trips out too are often arranged, which the residents look forward to.

We would highly recommend Ashlyns. They take the best care of our love one who we value immensely.
