Potentially the worst GP surgery to ever exist. I am always hesitant to contact as I know their response will be unhelpful. However, on occasions where I felt as though I had no other choice I was told that my blood results from my previous appointment were normal and therefore I must have “health anxiety” - I totally denied that I agreed with this, however documentation from their end suggested that I agreed and it is something I would consider moving forward.
Another and more recent unhelpful correspondence with myself and one of the doctors at this surgery is I contacted regarding any treatment for hayfever as I am struggling to cope with my symptoms, I asked if they offer the injection, to be told that he’s never heard of it and therefore is unlikely it exists. He then pushed for me to have a prescription of a medication, I explained how I have tried everything from the shelf and over the counter and nothing is helping. He reassured that this medication will help and to try it, so I agreed. I later picked up the prescription to find that it is the exact same one that I have been using from the shop counter. It is also nearly triple in price to pay for prescription.
The doctors at this surgery do not care to listen to any problems or concerns that a patient may have and make no effort into helping to solve / get treatment for the issue.

Ask my GP on line isn’t working properly but the reception keep making out it is and can take days or a week to get back to you and there’s times when they don’t. When ask them why they have said they are short of doctors. They could of at least contacted you to say there isn’t no doctors available instead of just leaving you waiting for a reply from them. Reception seem to think they know better then the doctors when doctors tell you to make a appointment to see them but the reception don’t listen and don’t make the appointment, Reception can be rude and talk over you when you are trying to explain, Reception making out they are short of staff but the staff car park is full of staff cars, Not telling you your test results I’ve had to go in weeks later to ask for them, There’s all way’s problems with prescriptions not being right. Love lane surgery was good at one time but now has gone down hill a lot. I feel very let down.

The staff are okay.
Doctors obviously don't fully read the information supplied by other departments regarding the need to see a patient.

The logging in via the app is horrendous. Filling the date of birth took me a good ten minutes having to scroll back 75 years worth of months is no joke as I have problems with my fingers.

I think your surgery is diabolical and NHS is no service to it's local residents anymore. Why have a phone no when you cannot get an appointment via it. In the old days the service was fot fir purpose, but not in 2024!

Well, after many months of not othering with the Burnham and Berrow medical centre I thought I woukd try the new automated "Ask my GP" system. It seems this has made the surgery even more useless. It seems this system allows the surgery to simply reply with "go to A&E" no questions asked about full symptoms or any other type of question. I have noticed that the entire list of gp's appears to have changed and I can't recognise a single name. While the NHS nationally sinks further into the abyss it seems B&B medical practice are happy to join them.

Very frustrating experience!
I changed over to this doctors surgery recently after moving into Burnham, previously I was at a lovely surgery where they were very attentive and had excellent patient care. On 2 occasions recently I have had abnormal blood test results and have had to wait a significant amount of time for a doctor to call me to have a 5 minute conversation. More recently, I have found on the app my blood clotting results are abnormal, I have used ask my gp to find out what the problem is but been waiting almost 2 weeks now only to be told there are no appointment slots available for me. In November I suffered a miscarriage and am having these bloods done in relation to fertility, this is a very anxious time for me and I just feel I am being left to worry with no continuity. This is not meeting NMC standards. One positive thing to mention is the quality of care displayed by the phlebotomist Rebecca, she is very friendly and excels in her job.
