I was stupid enough to shut the car door on my thumb on Bank Holiday Monday. I was in and out out in twenty minutes. Thumb cleaned and dressed. Thank you so much

Attended this morning with son who had broken/fractured his finger.
It was quite busy(we went armed with an iPad and a book) staff were great, very well organised and the wait time was fine.
We were taken into a room by Roy who lovely! A lovely gentleman who very quickly put both me and my son at ease and then swiftly organised an X-ray where it was confirmed it was fractured.
My very curious son asked about the fractures and once his finger was all strapped up Roy took us to see the images of the X-rays which made my son’s day!
Thanks so much!

I attended a very long awaited appointment to see a Gynaecologist regarding my hormone levels and with the hope of changing/adding various hormones to elevate the multiple symptoms I have relating to my hormone deficiency.
On arrival it’s good to see a clean spacious reception area with a friendly receptionist at the helm but unfortunately the consultation was a complete disgrace and a waste of time and NHS funds.
Despite NICE guidelines clearly outlining the approach medical staff should take in relation to menopausal symptoms I was advised to try “a kiss and a cuddle” and “date night”. You can only begin to imagine how degrading and patronising being advised this felt.
Medical gaslighting against women is sadly an ongoing historical issue which must be stopped.
If you a awaiting a similar appointment I would advise that you don’t get your hopes up and instead I suggest you start saving for a private consultation with a Doctor that has educated themselves on the menopause as sadly this is not an area trainee doctors are taught.

I brought my daughter (aged 3) thinking this was an a&e with suspected concussion. The woman receptionist who pointed out 'they don't treat things like that' she was very rude and ignorant and lacked any empathy.
