Customer Reviews

Forage at Wadswick has received an impressive 4.3/5 average rating from 278 reviews on Google My Business. Customers praise the beautiful setting, delightful food, and friendly service. However, some diners have noted that prices can be higher than expected and service can be slow at times. One customer commented:

"Nice environment - food good but really overpriced. £16 for a salad and £10 for a scotch egg on a few salad leaves - both delicious but not too small to be worth the ££’s. Service was a bit slow as well. Kept having to ask people to serve us … we were in a booth and felt they just ignored us."

Despite these minor drawbacks, Forage at Wadswick remains a highly regarded and popular destination for food lovers in Corsham and beyond.

Three of us popped in for tea and cake today. We hadn't booked and it was quite busy with the lunch crowd still there but there was a lovely booth available for us. Three pots of tea, two Americanos, one Victoria Sponge cake, one Pretzel Chocolate Cake and one Coffee and Walnut Cake later we left. Service was very good. Cakes very, very good. Plenty of parking and lovely atmosphere. Definitely going back.

I went in for breakfast with my daughter and got a great breakfast bagel, I was able to take off the Egg with no fuss. My daughter had a huge mug of hot chocolate and demolished her Bagel. Nice friendly staff, great food. Only tiny issue is it opens at 8 but no signs I could see to get in until the main building opened, but I have to admit I didn't look that hard.

Having had a lovely breakfast last week, I’ve just dropped in for a couple of take away sandwiches. Waitress was lovely but had to ask if the chef could do me a couple of gluten free sandwiches to order. Dismissively declined. Very poor and disappointing to experience that ‘can’t be arsed’ attitude. We won’t be back.

Went to the Forage at Wadswick for the first time yesterday. 5 adults 1x9yr child and a 1 yr old.
What a fantastic experience!
Wonderful, relaxed space with a fantastic view from our table upstairs Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble.
Food was fantastic, wonderful beef burger and gorgeous fries. Also luscious puddings.
Will definitely return.

Having Christmas lunch at wadwicks, and it's so good I have stopped halfway through to put this review on! Everything is cooked to perfection! Staff so polite and friendly despite being busy. My husband had the burger which was also super tasty and very full of meat! Definitely well recommend!

Really enjoyable breakfast. You could tell the sausage and bacon were good quality and tasted so good. Maybe slightly pricey, especially when you pay extra for black pudding but might as well go all in if you are going for it. Eggs Benedict was really good too.

Not the best of experiences and the first time I have eaten here. Prices are incredibly high for what you get. Felt chaotic arriving and to be seated. Wadswick burger the patties are they cooked from frozen as not tasty at all and very disappointing. For £17.00 I would have expected a lot more French fries than the small handful plated. Also noted the chef at the pass had his apron on backwards, if you don’t care about your appearance what hope is there for the food…it showed. Wait staff whilst friendly just not attentive. Overall very disappointing experience and menu on offer.
