Always a pleasure going to BDR.
Adopted twice from here and the people that work here really do stay with you for life. Always at the end of the phone or screen for support and advice. An extremely knowledgeable and incredible team who, once you've adopted from them, become your family too.

Absolutely fantastic charity. We recently adopted from here, they were brilliant the whole way.

The website, comparatively, may feel a little outdated and not as smooth as others but it is functional and allows you to gain your introduction.

Everyone I dealt with was absolutely fantastic and their absolute love for the breed is absolutely evident.

Bulldogs may well be the world's most stubborn dogs but they are also the world's most loving! They will immediately become a massive part of any family, leaving you questioning how you ever got by without one!

I honestly cannot state my respect for this organisation. My circumstances have changed dramatically which has put a massive strain on me and my beloved boy ( who I must make people aware I've had for 7 years, so the desicion isn't one I've made lightly, I could also put him on freeads ect and get money but that's the last thing I want).

I called the bulldog rescue explaining my issues and that I felt inhumane to want to rehome my dog. I explained my work was increasing and I was already out of the house some days 12 hours+. Before talking about rehoming we discussed how I could possibly keep him. To which it was agreed that it was in the intrest of the dog to go to a nice family home.

All of my needs have been considered first, ( I stated I wanted him to go to a family which was agreed. I could sense how passionate they were).

A voulonteer arrived yesterday to do a check on him and make sure he was fit to be rehomed. His temperament was remarked about and how well he had been raised.
Sara was absolutely lovely and a real pleasure to deal with. I know now I am making the right decision and the dogs intrest is being made priority.

100% recommend and will be forever grateful.
