I recently visited for face painting and balloon modeling at a birthday party, and I highly recommend it for kids' parties! The venue has a great soft play area with two separate party rooms. I was in the top room, which was perfect, especially on a hot day like yesterday, as it has air conditioning. The facilities are clean, including the toilets, and the reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There's also parking available, which is a big plus. Although I didn’t have time to explore everything, I know there are many more fun activities to enjoy. Definitely a great place for a party!

I've been coming to the restaurant and shop fairly regularly for the last few years. The service is friendly and fast. The roast dinners and generous and well cooked, the roast beef will be pink in the middle as it should be 🤌 Also lots of other options on the menu. The restaurant does attract a lot of families with young children so it can be noisy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is a ramp to the toilet but the room is not large enough for a wheelchair. The prices are the going rate.

Found this lovely place today. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We had Egg on toast & a full English breakfast and it was great. Will definitely come back when we're in the area.

We went there today, and it was a total rip off. As a family of two adults, a two-year-old, and a six-year-old, we spent £18 just to get in and assist our children . The space is super small, and there's only one toilet. The soft play area isn't huge, but the kids had fun as they could .
The party area was right at the front, and people were blocking the entrance. They said the farm was open until 5 [ which we would have to pay another £15 to gain acess ] the soft play closes 4pm , but they were already kicking people out and cleaning tables before 4, even though the kids were still playing and getting ready to go .
We stayed for a hour and we dont know how long each session runs however it was disappointing as we had good recommendations to visit . Biscoffee was good and fairly price .

Being outdoors in the fresh air is always a nice start to a family day out…goes down hill from there. Tickets are ok priced considering you can view all the enclosures within 30 minutes. The indoor animal section, cages are neglected animals living in their own filth…smell was horrific (was really sad to see)
The worst part of the day was being told my disabled dad in a wheel chair was not able to enter the soft play area and as it wasn’t our purchased ticket time.(even though there was many free tables spare) I asked if it was the norm for them to leave disabled people in wheelchairs outside in the rain to which we got no real response. The young staff members need to be trained in basic human empathy. We left straight after this interaction. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

(Let’s hope google doesn’t remove this honest post yet again!!)

Fantastic place for all ages. Lots to do indoors and out for the kids. Play area's, indoor soft play, small water park, good selection of animals to walk around. Has a farm shop where you can buy food and drink and is all natural products!! Has restaurant on site at a reasonable price, could be worth booking a table at busy times. Great day out!!!

Food was decent, staff was helpful and place is nice but disappointed that it doesn’t seem child friendly which was our expectation since it’s located next to a soft play and farm. There is a high chair available. But as other reviewers have said, no outside food is allowed. This is fine if there is a specific children’s menu with no added salt / sugar. But there isn’t. We were told that baby purées are allowed but our daughter is 13 months old so she’s now eating proper solid food. We came prepared with our own baby food but she couldn’t eat that as it is outside food. They suggested that we order some sides but we were told they are cooked in the same way as adult food (so there could be added salt / sugar which may not be appropriate for her age). It would have been helpful if there is an exception for young toddlers or a separate children’s menu that complies with NHS recommendations for babies / toddlers / young children in terms of added salt / sugar.
