Hired out silk hall . They kept the deposit without consulting me, until I chased it over 2 weeks later. They said we caused damage with hot drinks. We had NO hot drinks at the event !! They eventually gave the deposit, coz I had to do their job for them & reconfirm details. What a shambles of an organisation, their booking staff are rude and obnoxious. They called me x4 times for full payment, when it was paid in FULL at the booking stage !! Unprofessional and really don’t know what customer service is or how to communicate with people who spent over £1.5k to hold an event there. You were super quick to take and chase money that is Already in Your account, but not to follow up on customer service. Disgusting and shameful for a so called community project. Never again. (See attached email and of course they rarely reply to messages ) weekend or not. , the phone number was given was a point of contact for the day. Do not book privately here, save your money and self respect and give it where you are and your guests are valued! It was more than human error, take this complaint to your Board. And have the chair contact me !
