My experience at Rooley lane medical centre
has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening. It has become virtually impossible to secure an appointment, and the overall service leaves much to be desired.

Attempting to schedule an appointment with this practice has become a nightmare. The wait times are exorbitant, and getting through to the receptionist on the phone feels like a Herculean task. It's as if they prioritize bureaucracy over patient care, leaving individuals in need of medical attention in the lurch.

When I did manage to secure an appointment, the service I received was subpar at best. The staff seemed indifferent and disinterested, lacking empathy and basic courtesy. It felt like I was just another number in their system, rather than a patient in need of care and attention.

The lack of organization and communication within the practice only added to the frustration. I was left feeling neglected and unheard, with my concerns brushed aside as if they were inconsequential.

Reception staff couldn’t care less telephone appointments are scams they will give you two rings and hang up on you and when you call back they’ll say you’ve missed it and need to book tommrow even if the person is more or less dying
Rang up about the situation and the women on the phone couldn’t have the slightest care she just wants to know why ch department it was in and the manager is in a meeting if you ask for them

30 minutes to answer a call when you are 1 in que . Give you wrong medication and end up with a allergic reaction. Doctors don't read patient notes . Complain when short staffed but build new rooms instead of hiring new Doctors or nurses.

My mum had very bad experience at the practice today, came 30 minutes before appointment, reported to the receptionist who had no sympathy and care about you at all, left her sitting there 30 minutes missed telephone appointment, there was no clear information either face appointment or telephone appointment’ on the booking system, very bad system’ she is in lots of pain, and the non medical staffs had no sympathy at all, no apologies from receptionist, very poor practice, unacceptable, totally wasted tax payers money!!!!
I was forced to give one star by the internet to be able to post! do not deserve any!!!!The receptionist need serious training, very poor skills , knowledge , most importantly NO compassion and care!

I feel extremely grateful to have been looked after for 40 years by this practice.

All the staff, nurses and Doctors have always looked after my health, not just when I'm ill- but proactively telling me when I need a check up:- all done in a kind, caring and friendly manner that goes above and beyond the call of duty

I feel extemely fortunate to have these wonderful people on my side.

Thanks to all
Jonathan

Don't lecture patients on the phone about being abusive when your own reception staff are exceptionally rude. My daughter rung the surgery this morning was nothing but polite yet the receptionist talked to her very rudely asked for the name of daughters medication then said to her was she making it up or did she have it in front of her. The cheek of it I was ready to get in the car and go up myself no wonder people are rude to them.
